Just so everyone knows all the foxes in cages are either expencting mother, mothers that need to be close to there newborns, foxes with issness or need special attention in some way. This place is truely amazing they take care of the animals very well. My first reaction walking in was how sad some were chained up or in cages. But found out they have good reason to be there. Far far better than a zoo and if you ever come to japan it's in my top 3 places to go to! I was starting to miss this place already so thanks Yaya for making a video! I really hope it will get more attention since there were so few people when we went(Maybe the newborns were to young?) I hope you enjoy this place if you do go!

The gentle ones - or the black one at least, obvious by the colouration and behaviour - were Belyaev's foxes. Their ancestors were bred specifically for tameness over the course of numerous generations, so they're actually more domesticated than housecats.

I'm so glad you went there! I saw Fox Village feeding time in another video several months ago. I'm so greatful to have a fox den in the back yard. It always looks empty and I do not go near it. When I see the fox resting by the pond watching the frogs, then I am assured he is still living nearby.

lol. My girl cat Calypso will sit on my desk next to me with this eyes half open look on her face that makes her look like she's totally pissed off. Pretty much the same otherwise, if I don't start paying a lot of attention to her she will jump onto my lap, crawl up my shoulder and start head butting me. Your fox and out kitties sound so much alike it's kind of scary.
I have a deep respect for these wild animals we have bigger foxes in the uk which are wild and run all over the cities as well as im close to the country side here so i see them very differently and they are soo cute though aww!! they are like fluffballs on legs
