Fyans is my regular fishing hole, it’s not unusual to bag some decent Redfin there, my PB is 48cm. Good vid, thanks for the content.

I notice your retrieve with the slim swim is similar for trout and red fin so are you in only shallow water mate? Usually for me I keep the plastic on the bottom for reds and the upper section of the water column for trout.

Thanks for watching the channel mate! In those western Victoria fishery which are shallow both the reddies and trout seem to like a constant retrieve which is because they eat a lot of minnows

Probably around 46-47cm at a guess because I hardly ever measure fish 😅
