Personally think it's Bullsh*t that they're charging $150.00 for the software. The map software price should be built into the price of the bike with how much these bikes cost. :/
Hi Matt! I bought a 2019 Street Glide from the US during my last vacation and the bike is awesome. I´m unbelievable happy with it and it has some nice features like the BoomBox GTS. I´ve already installed the european maps on my bike, but i can´t figure out how to change the radio band frequencies. In the US the frequencies are i.e. 27.925 - in Europe the frequencies are i.e. 88.6 - so there is the difference of the .005 frequency. In forums i´ve found out that other owners had their regions changed by the dealer, but my dealer said it´s not possible. Do you have any idea how i can change my region so i can listen to european radio stations? Many thanks in advance Matt! Take care and have a safe ride!
Hello Matt. Thanks for your great video, you make it look so easy! Unfortunately, when I download the toolbox, it doesn't show a sign up/ log in page. I'm wondering if this is because I have a Mac, not Windows computer, even though it says t is for Mac, or if there is some other reason. So, the toolbox does download, but it just has an error page telling us to insert the USB drive, instead of taking us to the sign up page, and when we install the USB stick it doesn't find it.When I look on the myextras site to download the toolbox from there instead, they only have Windows options. Thanks in advance for any assistance you can give me.

Don't seem to be able to obtain the fingerprint..... I'm simply following the instruction provided on this video on my Road Glide Ultra 2019, it seems to go on a 2 hours download period before the system simply turns off. I have even fomated my new USB to Fat32. Any ideas?
Hello Matt.I installed the 2019 map updates in my ultra Ltd cvo,after it was installed I can't enter the full UK postcode. I have taken the bike to Harley dealership but after 3 months they cannot solve this problem. I was hoping you might have some idea.

@@harleydavidson i have spoken to customer support and they keep making excuses saying they and waiting for an answer, this has been going on for 9 months.my local dealer also had my bike for nearly 3 months, fitted new head unit and same problem still exists.after getting my bike back i was contacted by the dealership saying they have had an email saying the problem has been solved with the new software update.so my problem is I've paid for an update which does not work correctly and feel very disappointed that the only way out of this is to buy new software when I've paid for an update which did not work correctly.many thanks.kevin

I follow all the steps said in the video, but at the point where I shall insert the USB Drive in the PC - Boom Box running, I get no response from the Boom Box. No possibility to log in or what ever.

Start Boom!™ Box GTS Toolbox Insert your USB flash drive (which is synchronized with your navigation head unit, see section 3.) into your computer. You will be directed to ‘Update section’ on HOME screen Choose the map of your home region to restore and click on Install. Follow the instructions on the screen.

When did Harley last update the maps on the Boom GTS? I bought a 2020 Limited in Sept. 2019. Does it have the current map?

So what happens to the original North American maps? Are they still there, or can they be recovered? Wouldn’t want to pay to change back.

I did same but navigation system not updated message pop up ( update from ROW-MY2023-1 to DLR-MY2024-1) after finished update the system not updated
