But Phill never really owned the show... he didn't go out and buy the show, or it wasn't left to him in a will. Phill was just rather funny on the show and made people laugh and have a good time. Why is this called 'owning' something ? Seems a bit silly to me...
I can confirm what Sam Mort said, saw him at the end of last year, the man bought bisvuits and tea cakes for the audience and wandered around handing them out and having casual chats with people during the intermission.
As a Yank, I only know him from QI, and he is outrageously funny, one of a few people that could put Stephen Fry on the floor, gasping from air from laughing.
surrealism is alive. Marianne Faithful and Sean Locke sitting on the same panel with Phil. For us Oldies, this is a mind melting moment
* Lock *
Came here to show my daughter the man we met at a Bowling For Soup gig last week. Stayed for the memories and the giggles.
“AGAIN.”
Absolute fucking madman.
The problem with Lord Lucans Fashion House is that no-one can find it.
Omg just been laughing about this for the last hour
I really miss this show, I loved Never Mind The Buzzcocks!
its back now
The original and best Kochanski!
Never knew Phil was such a diverse actor! It's amazing what they could do with make up back then.
I miss Buzzcocks.
Me too
Thank u so much for uploading these
These clips are delightfully old
His description of Jedward was spot on! (Comparing them with Stephen Fry and Dappy),
Took that waxing like hero 😂
0:30 I've never seen Sean Lock so silent!
Mark was so much better couldn't stand Simon
i demand quiz!
Again!
LOL
Ah sean
"The Jabba the Hut of jokes" xD
5:18 Chapelle shirt!
which episode is that last clip from?
some good choices but I do think Phil Juptius diswcussing Vortex should have been included.
And BA BA BA BA
Great to see s Adamson
"as a boy" 😂😂😂😂😂
which band was the footage at the end of? x
Procol Harum
Phill Jupitus's wife is a very lucky woman. With all apologies to her, I have a massive crush on him. lol
Who is the lady at number 6, who called herself the Pixie of Pop?
Ah, never mind. Clare Grogan, thanks to Quickstrike's clue below. Thanks!
@@Jackofallthetrades She was tbf
Clare Grogan aka Gregory's Girl
The original Kristine Z. Kochanski from Red Dwarf - Claire Grogan.
@@steveg2251 Technically "Gregory's" girl, but I'd fight him for her!
Who's the girl at number 7 ?
Sara Cox
A very rare compilation of Phil being funny 😂
Funnier than you, kiddo.
I never understood the hatred for Phil. I'm a bit of a comedy snob myself and I love the guy.
@@dannykent6190 I didn't even realise Phill was especially disliked. He's not Lee Hurst or anything
He's like a less contemptible Corden
I didn't expect this video to exist.

Can't be any sillier than preceding a question mark with a space.
Calm down grandad...
Funny as cot death!
He's about as funny as knob rot
if somebody else had knob rot you might laugh.
You had much knobrot?
What IS Phil Jupitus, exactly? He's certainly not a comedian.
He is eternal, the alpha omega, the legend, the man & a star of Hairspray the musical and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
Seen him live he’s hilarious and a real genuine performer spends time with audience before and after and during the interval
I can confirm what Sam Mort said, saw him at the end of last year, the man bought bisvuits and tea cakes for the audience and wandered around handing them out and having casual chats with people during the intermission.
Jason Bock But his comedy accent is so FUNNY.
As a Yank, I only know him from QI, and he is outrageously funny, one of a few people that could put Stephen Fry on the floor, gasping from air from laughing.
He's just loud, obnoxious and strives for attention. When another comedian is making a joke he always has to get involved.
The only thing Jupitus owns is the fridge.
You say that like most people don't own a fridge
He never "owned" it. Never understood why he was on it. What is he?
