We just got this S1 Pro in the Black Friday sales, and we're very impressed with it. Had no idea how gross our floors were till we saw the dirty water container. The cleaning solution has a nice minty smell as well. And coming from a eufy X8 Hybrid, we didn't notice any issues with the vacuuming either.
The vacuum and mop work well but only where it can travel to of course. I have tried my very best to like this robot vacuum but it still needs some work. - it does not go under my dining chairs even though it has enough space to fit through the legs - it does not navigate efficiently: it goes over the same route 3-4x, it turns it around in place multiple times trying to figure out how to clean a room - I understand that it cannot mop to the edge of a room near wall or furniture because the mop roller is not to the edge of the vacuum body but I don't understand why eufy decided to not allow it to vacuum up to edge of wall and furniture where dust and hair and debris usually accumulate the most. The rotating brush arms are not even close to furniture or wall edges no matter what setting configuration I've tried. - although it doesn't have a Lidar on top and looks streamlined, it is actually taller than my old roborock s4 so it gets stuck under furniture like my bed I had high hopes for this eufy vacuum. I've tried everything I could and been in constant contact with eufy to troubleshoot it every few days. I really want to like it but unfortunately I think it needs more work so I will have to return it. Sharing with everyone.
I have had this robot for about 1 week now, and I've had a completely different experience than you did. I like that it cleans room by room. It sgoing through the middle then walks along the edges to get as close as it can to the wall. There is about a paper sizes space between my baseboard and how close the robot gets while cleaning alongside it. The first 3 cleans were erratic, but now its really good. Also you can adjust how risky it is. I have mine set to free and it goes up against everything in my house.
The same. I wanted to run it when I was away and it got stuck on a piece of cracker and required someone to remove it. It misses spots in the kitchen, 10-15 inches from the counter, and makes my carpet that is not that thick wet at the beginning. It would not be a big deal but it's white. Unfortunately basic functionality leaves room for improvement. Otherwise the design makes me admire this piece of art.
Great video! Are you going to be reviewing Narwal’s S20 pro? Would love your thoughts and it’s comparison with the Bissell Crosswave omniforce edge. Thank you!
Any info on product safety with well water on water softener systems? Vacuum requires tap water only; bottled water is not recommended per Eufy support as well. Any input would be appreciated!
I returned the Qrevo Curv. Mine had a dustbin flaw. It would fill up, and then not dock to empty itself. I had to baby it as much as my old $300 robovac. Not acceptable for that price-point. I have hardwood floors so I have a feeling this might be my best option of what's out at the moment.
I have had mine for 2 days now. 1) It gets easily stuck on loose carpets and dooropenings which my former Irobot's never did. 2) It is making screaking noises from factory already. 3) it can not mop near edges nor corners 4) it got stuck on my daughters school back yesterday - also somehting i never experienced with my iRobots
For its weight if this thing vacuumed just little better it be imo one of top robots out rn I think cheaper option is eufy x10 imo best bot out rn for your money little over 500 bucks rn
why the hell i have to see that drainage canal left open and spill drops around from back of the robot all around, why they cant make just small chimney from foam or what to not spill that dirty water all around while going down to drainage from roboto to base.. thats make no sense to me, i will put there something it looks nonsene to me
I just bought the Eufy s1 pro after looking at all the options and from the first time trying to mop, I get the EB1K error code. I already dislike this machine.

Mine works great apart from cleaning edges. Navigation and object avoidance is top notch.

Whats the pros and cons for this vacuum

Some of these robot vacuums I’m not sure you need a upright vacuum anymore
Mine is so scratched up on the top of it.
I wish it had a better filtration system 😢

Roborock qrevo master is better.

Sorry to hear you are having trouble with it!
