    Just awesome....I hear some Quicksilver influence.. He was just an extraordinary player...a technician ahead of his time.

    So many influences in franks music. In this one I hear a little doors robbiekrieger and a little santana as well.

    To say this man is magnifique, awesome or Hendrix-esque would be as an insult to he whom sent him here.....
    Adjectives fail us in the express of this souls excellence.
    Only angelic choirs are more resplendent.
    Bless you, dear Canadian brother.
    Brian.

    Grande Marino!!! ... Nada puede detener a quienes crean y dan lo mejor de si, sin hacer alaraca x lo q' de gracia recibieron... Quien evoluciona tiene un largo recorrido q' lo trajo hasta estos días... Nada es x acaso ,quienes así lo creen jamas dejaran de ser mediocres en favor de lo pre establecido... Solo " viajan"...los q' saben de q' se trata... No nos venden " basura, si no estamos dispuestos a convertirnos en ella" !!! ...

    I've been following Frank for over 50yrs. Sadly he announced he can not tour or even play anymore so enjoy his great body of work and keep him in your thoughts and prayers. Btw did you get the Light My Fire vibe in this song?

    • @danielethier2015
      @danielethier2015 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Definitely some Jim Morrison influence to this song!
      You are right in saying that Frank hung up his guitar(2021) due to health issues..sadly!
      The most underrated guitarist of all times!!

    i love this guy since 1979 when i was 14,playing thru an old record player that had a microphone/guitar input-,and a big speaker,with an mxr distortion plus,and even an mxr flanger,that was the only effects i had,for like years and years...and a red aria sg style guitar that's just great,i replaced the plastic machine heads with some heavy grovers, in 1980 so the guitar's kinda neck-heavy now,it's more of a sit-down guitar..needs work,probly needs all new frets actually..nice rosewood fretboard...great guitar! my mom'n'dad bought it used for 100 dollars at elderly instruments in lansing,in 1977! i don't know how old the guitar was then...

      +tinfoilhatter for years,i never knew frank played an sg, i knew tony iommi did and so did robby krieger..and many others...but the black sabbath thing was what i was into the most,before i heard that frank marino live album from 1978...it still just blows me away!

    The middle section reminds me of Riders on the Storm (3:54) + indeed, Neil Booth, vocals like Sting sometimes.
