As Charlie? The Gregory mimic thing is just very predictable, even without reading the books, from the trailer it's obvious it's a set up. I do think the story in ruin it is better written. Proof of this is that in the finale in which Freddy dies, like Markaplier, many of us find it ridiculous, but we were able to empathize more with Roxy and Cassie, even with them sharing less time togerher on screen.
The fact Jack kinda geeks out about Sun and Moon and was disipointed to see them gone so soon was exactly how i felt and honestly love too see he likes them too!

Never really got into playing the series myself, but from a world building perspective I like that you get to interact more with the animatronics in this one. Even if it's just a few brief moments, it gives them a great deal of physicality in the world. Yeah, you got to walk the bear in the base game, but his existence was completely utilitarian, he just felt so removed from the action that he never had an actual presence. For example, if the kid got jumped by some enemy, Freddy would just stand there and do nothing, completely opposing his character in the cutscenes where he seems to care a lot about the kid. Yet during gameplay that character is just no there at all. In this DLC the animatronics are acknowledged by the game. They're not just used exclusively as a gameplay mechanic. They now have character, which might be a little late, but hey: better late than never.

Never really got into playing the series myself, but from a world building perspective I like that you get to interact more with the animatronics in this one.
Even if it's just a few brief moments, it gives them a great deal of physicality in the world.
Yeah, you got to walk the bear in the base game, but his existence was completely utilitarian, he just felt so removed from the action that he never had an actual presence.
For example, if the kid got jumped by some enemy, Freddy would just stand there and do nothing, completely opposing his character in the cutscenes where he seems to care a lot about the kid. Yet during gameplay that character is just no there at all.
In this DLC the animatronics are acknowledged by the game. They're not just used exclusively as a gameplay mechanic.
They now have character, which might be a little late, but hey: better late than never.

Sun thanking you after you negate Moon is sincere and touching! Cassie *_is_* better than Gregory. Sun is the warm light that keeps the shade away. Sun is one of the few animatronics that will protect children from harm. Moon is the cold and terrifying darkness that lurks in the shadows and, when the opportunity arises, will strike you down. Sun and Moon are two sides, representing good and evil. Eclipse is the neutral state and the emergency safety mode protocol if things get out of hand. Eclipse will make sure to keep everything under control, making sure no kid is at risk.
