So all they do is grow up thinking what they hear from inside their circle is the truth. It does happen in other classes. But no to the extent. Lower classes tend to not be able to shelter their kids from reality. Because reality lives in their back yard. They also tend to interact with more classes of pple. Lower working class tend to live and go to schools with actual Lower class and middle class. Where as upper class go to private schools that only have other upper class kids. Lower classes tend to walk more places ect.

      @@pomegranates-yum391 1. I think generally women want men to be in action/working toward something/strong willed etc 2. My point here with women that walk into these types of panels is that for many of them its the first time that they are being “held accountable” for the decisions that they make in life. Having said that I would push back on pearls exaggerated blame she places on women for absolutely everything.

    • @pomegranates-yum391
      @pomegranates-yum391 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      @@WillSmith63957 Could you explain more about how women wanting men who take action, or are working towards an ambition, relates to whether or not they show empathy towards men's issues?
      A study published in April 2023 (by William Costello Vania Rolon Andrew G. Thomas David P. Schmitt) shows us that men overestimate the importance of financial stability (which is inextricably linked to working towards something) when it comes to women's dating choices. That in fact the top traits for women, and this is backed up by a long body of evidence not this singular paper, are: kindness, loyalty, dependability, emotional maturity and sense of humour. These are aspects that are intrinsically linked to connection and empathy. Of course drive is important, but the data shows that men overestimate the importance of this in relation to more emotive, empathic factors.
      The societal accountability argument is something I find interesting. For the most part I see this as valid, in that women are afforded a softer approach by society in many aspects. Though, when it comes to accountability, I think women take the brunt of one of (if not the) most crucial examples of accountability - and that is having and caring for a child, if she falls pregnant and takes that child to term. Sacrificing your freedom to care for another life is the most severe form of accountability for your actions there is, and women bear the brunt of that the majority of the time.
      Returning to the softer approach women are afforded by society more generally, I think we might gain a more useful perspective if we look at why that might be. Humans are an incredibly risk averse species of animal; even though human males are less risk averse than human females, they are far more risk averse than males from our closest primate relatives, for instance. We have formed complex societal frameworks which we use to structure our lives. When we brought women into the work force, in the modern day, less than 100-years-ago, that was a huge risk. It makes sense to approach an influx of that scale with caution and to recognise the potential fallout of such a huge shift. When we consider the complexity of our societies the need for caution is amplified. It makes sense to have this leniency, as it mitigates potential problems from arising while we work to accommodate this change.
      Naturally we might think "why have women in the workforce then?" and aside from the obvious arguments of human autonomy and agency over one's life, we could also look to humanities amazing proclivity to chase progress. By assimilating women into the workforce we double our potential brain power expenditure, and therefore double our potential to overcome challenges. Then we also should consider that men and women approach challenges in different ways, and this lateral cognitive perspective further multiplies the potential for progress and for finding solutions.

    "Why do they break up after they stopped cheating"
    JustPearlyThings answer to this just demonstrated how incredibly naive and sheltered she probably was. Her lack of people and life experience is showing (it doesn't matter how many people you meet if you've always closed your mind to see things from their pov)
    1. Why do people stop cheating? Usually because they're now unable to cheat anymore because they're lacking in value or they're coming back to the relationship with the tail between their legs. So the women might now see no value in the guy anymore not because he stopped cheating but because there's nothing going on for him anymore and the pain of the cheating is still there.
    2. People sometimes don't break up while the cheating is happening because they don't want to "lose" the person they have to the other person. When the cheating ends they sort of see how stupid that was and have the realization of "wtf was I fighting for"

      they both agreed that in general men value looks and women resources at 33:50 and then cosplayer said resources to a certain extent and that not all women want millionaires.. lol
      that is cap.. just like if women could, they would pick the 1% guys, most men, if they could, would bang the hottest chicks on earth..
      thing is.. usually destiny describes a lot of other traits and this and that but forgets that if the woman looks good and is not annoying, the dude is happy and for the woman, the dude has go meet a lot of demands: height, the money, fit etc in order to show his personality and charisma... it doesnt matter if the dude has a heart of gold and a caring and loving man that protects animals... if she is 5'5 and broke, cosplayer girl would never look his way

      @@ChipCheerio sooo wait. The answer is no until you add enough it becomes yes? In which case the actual answer should be no, right? Due to the fact water, as far as I am aware, is defined by the bonding of 2 hydrogen and 1 oxygen. Not by the quantity of H2O present. Am I missing something or have I got something wrong?

      There is a threshold for everything, including water. You will never find 5 molecules of water alone, you will only ever find it present by the millions or billions of molecules. So for all intents and purposes it is wet all the time in any place it can be found.

    Saying that a woman leaving a man because he has no job for two years is not an example of women loving men less. Why can't it just mean that the woman needs to survive and she can love him but love herself more?

I am aware that I've mentioned this before in recent videos, but currently, I've grown far more confused. Sincerely, she appears quite unintelligent, and I mean this as a clear clinical description of how she behaves and responds to a number of arguments.

    Lmao as I’m watching this and thinking about the man I’m crazy about….a 36 year old living with his parents haha. He’s absolutely precious though and such a kind, giving human being. Sometimes ppl just fall into a bad spot and they can’t help it. I see how hard he works to be a better person and to fix his mistakes. Love should be unconditional, I know as humans we are just naturally flawed but if you truly love a person then you will love them at their lowest because they will give you the world at their best.

      people that date for personality definitely have the healthiest sturdiest relationships. they have to clear some small bars (take some amount of care for themselves, have some ambitions, have some kind of interesting hobby that they care about) and the rest is just vibing with humour and being aligned in problemsolving. its sooo fulfilling

    • @GG-vl9xq
      @GG-vl9xq ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @Anna I just think there is this weird negative connotation for the word 'conditional'. Maybe because when people hear it, they automatically think about superficial things. But non superficial conditions (like the things you mentioned) are actually great. Because no matter how you look at it, people have a mix of different norms, values, beliefs, dislikes, and likes, which makes them different from each other. So people will love a person that aligns at least somewhat with those things. But if those things turned out not be true, and you realize that the person you loved doesn't have the qualities what made you fall in love with them, then I don't find it weird to stop the love. Or if they all of a sudden change and lose the qualities that made you fall in love with them, I would actually find it bad if you don't try to stop loving them. Because that's just smells like a recipe for disaster where you start to slowly lose your own sense of self (your own values, likes, beliefs...) That's why I think love will always be conditional and why I think that conditional love is actually good. It's just different when you base it on superficial things. Then it's bad, yes.
      Of course change over years in those things is bound to happen naturally, but that's why I think it's important to figure out for yourself what is fundamentally important to you. The changes outside those fundamentals are still oke, but you will be able to detect it faster when the core of the relationship is beginning to rot so that you can get out of it faster before it starts to rot your own core.
