    Alhamdulilah student loans are without interest in Germany and education is basically for free. You pay 300 something euros every half a year to study (bus and train tickets included)! Where's a will there will be always a way!

    Alhamdulillah for this advice. Many of the scholars hold the same position. Taking an interest-based student loan is clear cut haraam and if anyone tells you otherwise such as out of 'necessity' (provided it isn't a life or death situation) then flea from these individuals! They are juhal! (Ignorant) So many young Muslims are being deceived into taking such loans in the prospect of a 'good job' which by the way is never guaranteed. A graduate will still need to compete in the labour market for a job along with everyone else. Nowadays there are so many options and avenues to earn a halal income, especially in the West including e.g. Degree apprenticeships and taking up a full-time job to earn and save up for university education if you HAVE to go to university such as to study Medicine.

    For those of you saying ‘oh but if a whole generation becomes uber drivers the Muslim community will be destroyed’ he’s not saying become an uber driver forever he’s saying you CAN work as one and collect the funds for uni, use your brains people. Also a point to consider, people who you do know who’ve taken the loan and done the degree, are they happy? Do they have barakah in their lives, their money, their children? Because for me the answer is 100% no and I’m sure if you look then you’ll realise the same.

    Respect shaykh I respect u a lot but Uber driving, delivering pizza is not practical were talking about millions of people and our young generations do you really want the entire majority of the Muslim youth to be doing these jobs with no real life skills plus covid19 now means even Uber and these jobs are not going to make you money specially living in the west there is so much paperwork and rules and regulations and background checks it’s not as easy as you make it respected shaykh

    My Question Regarding Driving For Uber, Is It A Matter Of Principles to Not Want to Pick up Customers At Bars, And Taking Customers to Bars???

  • @inshaallah91
    @inshaallah91 3 ปีที่แล้ว +41

    If all muslims avoid riba and become uber drivers and pizza delivery people then an entire community would be poor making only minimum wage. And poverty brings oppression and crime. Its not always easy to decide what to do.

    “I can work without studying, I can work as a Uber driver” come on man… give me people who have actually had an education to answer these questions. Our Muslim community need educated people not Uber drivers !!!

      The arrogance of this comment is astonishing, do you think an Uber driver is less-than? If you had any wisdom you would know that with a small job, you can provide for yourself books and an internet connection with which to educate yourself. Knowledge does not come from a university, it is from Allah, if you seek it according to the permissible means available to you inshallah you will be successful.

    Such a disingenuous answer. Studying in a good facility may give you the skills to save lives or do something positive with it. Sure it's not a necessity, but how do u expect people to just give up on their dream jobs?

    U r charging money.for counselling..is it right?

    • @Justalayman
      @Justalayman  3 ปีที่แล้ว +42

      The Sheikh is charging money for his time that he would spend to listen to you for a half an hour whereas he could be doing something else more beneficial with his time. He has never charged a penny for his dawah which he has been doing for more than 20+ years. Taking time to listen to people's problems for a whole half hour takes away from his family and livelihood so he charges for his time.

    I don't understand. Does Allah not forgive any sins accept shirk. Especially within the Ramadan in the last 10 days if you worship every night till the end of itikaf Allah will forgive you all the sins including loans. Am I right? Where is the promise of Allah?

    Why does asimalhakeem takes money for counselling??

    • @Justalayman
      @Justalayman  2 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Because giving someone a half an hour of his time takes away from his livelihood and his family. He is charging for his time and effort, otherwise he could easily do a lecture to benefit a broader audience
