I'd say that the weather water and time of the year is changing things... I'd suggest to fish all possible weather in two lakes... one clear one murky water with the same rules and do it for more than 5 seasons maybe then we all could get quite clear answers...
Great job Pontus and Mille. Caught some interestingly colored fish. Once again Mille knocks the shore lunch out of the park. Hard to beat fresh venison. Love the pike hat and keep up the great science work. 👍

Both subtle and vivid color schemes catch pike. A good compromise is to fish lures that have features of both. Lures that somewhat resemble natural forage, but with flourescent accents, make a lot of sense for a starting option - or when tackle is limited.
Woaw... Didn't aspect such a close result... Al true.. I think sometimes it has more to do with the siluette that the bait makes than the color... Btw awesome episode! Love it when you test stuff like this episode the colors maybe next time big bait against small? Cheers! 👍👊

Very nice movie, I like the idea of comparing different lures. But I belief, that it's much more important if the lure is UV active or not. Many of your natural lures like motoroil can be seen as bright lures, due to the high UV activity. However a really nice clip. And i would love to fish with you guys. :)

I know the competition for the pike hat is done, but I just started really fishing this summer and the only fish I've caught (and greatfully so) have been 4 pike this week. Biggest one has been 4lbs and in and around 30". First time angler from Ontario, Canada. I think that pike hat would help my efforts on catching bigger monsters. You guys are great by the way lol

Love this video. I don't understand though. Maybe it's just cause I'm shore fishing, but I can't seem to catch like any pike. Bass seem pretty easy, but I've only caught one pike in the last like 2 or 3 months. Using Rapala hard baits, and some storm soft baits.
Like your videos cause you seem to be fully relaxed and fish with no pressure - that s How the fun should be! Why to join you? Because you need to know few more ways to make lunch of cantarelli and probably prepare some karl johans!🙃🤙🏻

Very good video, I particularly prefer natural colors, use bright colors with cloudy water, but I do not use them at ease. A greeting and good fishing.
I’ve always loved using bright baits but I’ve had mixed results between natural and bright I would say where I am from fishing with bright baits and lures is a little better

Tja, I think Im the lucky one to fish with you guys. I’m an Australia who has been living in Uppsala, Sweden for the last 18 months. Jag flyttade hit för att min flickvän är svensk och jag ville lära kanna hennes rötter. So i brought a fishing rod with me, lucky you don’t need any mates to enjoy the nature and fishing! As that’s were I spend most of my free time. Im still looking take a 100cm Gädda, Maybe that’s your next TH-cam vid. Just saying : )

I think the bites depend on what currently fish feeds on in the lake( big or small fish) (lure size use) and in more muddier darker water the more lighter lures work better so fish can see them better when lures are bigger size.

I believe in match the hatch works best, although for murky water I have better luck with natural colors rather then bright.
