Ean Meyer! It's good to see you're still teaching. My name is Mitch and I studied with you many years ago at Bollitieri's in Bradenton and Farmington and also ran into you in Boca at the Evert Acadamy. Your tips still help me. I'm in New York but I'll try to look you up the next time I'm in Florida.
Hi Ean and Florian, Dai from Wales here. Nice idea to re-boot your serve mechanics. I'm going to try that as an exercise with light dumb bell weights while watching TV. Thanks and Good Luck Dai
It is soooo misleading to say you must present the strings to ball on follow-thru. In fact, following advice, slows racquet head speed and the overall flow of the serve. Wouldn't it be better to simply say, edge to snapping the wrist (which itself presents the strings without the self-consciously imposed command to present the strings?
It's just a tip to reveal what the speed of a serve can't expose moron ! People like you just wait to find something to mock but this time your the mug. Hoisted by your own petard. And if you truly understand your tennis, it wasn't misleading in the slightest. Dai from Wales

What a great tip, so easy to understand and practice, and you can hit the ball with a lot of more power, thanks a lot.
Appreciate your effort. I haven't thought about this. I will try to do it tomorrow
Really helpful. I've been trying to break the bad habits I learned with. Thanks

this is only fore beginners. No one who serves well thinks about this, it is a natural part of throwing.
