I have yet to consume any piece of Sakura Wars' media, but this opening theme is still a song I go back and listen to. I have ADV films to thank for this because I would always watch their previews whenever I bought an anime DVD with my monthly allowance.

Like somewhere between 2001 or 2005. Pretty much any anime disc with ADV films or Anime Works (different companies but I was buying their stuff around the same time) would probably have the PV on it. One of these days I need to get a disc drive so I can screen record the previews or somethin'!

@@unproductiveworkshop ADV film discs of miscellaneous anime isn't super rare or anything, at least not to my knowledge :) Some might be more coveted than others, but the early 2000's was one of the first big anime booms at least here in the US. You could probably find "adv anime dvd"'s for under 20 bucks off of eBay, Mercari, or your local second-hand multi-media store. Sometimes I even donated old anime to my local library! The only downside is they don't list which previews are on which shows so it'd be a bit of a gamble.
i never saw this anime, a friend give a mp3 with a lot of songs with no data about the artist and incomplete or wrong names, this is one of the few i can´t find all this years, is so great find something as a teenager you love but at the same time was a mistery.
Sakura Wars is extremely underrated here in the States. Even with the fifth game being released here in the U.S., it still didn't generate enough hype and sales to make it popular. But in a way, I'm kinda glad Sakura Wars is underrated. I'm glad it's not like Naruto or Sailor Moon in that it gets WAY too hyped up and in the end, people just end up forgetting about it. That's not the case with Sakura Wars. It may be underrated, but once you play a game in the series, you will fall in love with the characters and the awesome steam-punk setting.
Dark Jedi yea i played that game on the ps2, at that time you know its from japan cause it's weird as shit, its some sort of strange hybrid between a dating simulation and an action strategy game, there weren't many games like that back then, the dating sim part game part seem to get a little tedious though with the slow pace and shit-ton of dialogue, but i like it nonetheless
