If only they released it on more platforms, I for example would be ready to buy it as soon as it dropped on PC, unfortunately I don't think that will happen. I hope that maybe one day i'll be able to experience this story
@@tommyliu7020 It's simple: they released Sakura Wars with no marketing with Final Fantasy VII Remake and Persona 5 Royal. Basically: Lack of marketing (like any SEGA non Yakuza/Persona/Sonic game) + very bad release date. They repeated the same mistake also with Skies of Arcadia and Valkyria Chronicles. Only those two games completely overshadowed that game. Also Sony didnt helped marketing that game, they ofcourse marketed FF VII Remake. There was no hype building arround that game, trailers from SEGA were awful, many potential new players still didnt knew what kind of game this is: jrpg, adventure game, musou or maybe Visual Novel game ? And no Switch port for Japanese players, or PC port - Visual Novel / Dating SIm games tends to sell more on PC now. Making VN game PS4 exlusive is just not great idea. Fortunaltely this game sold 300 000 copies in Japan before western release date, it's similar number to Sakura Wars 4 on Dreamcast and better numbers than Lost Judgement (PS4) in Japan who sold only 200 000 copies in Japan. It seems only western sales suck.
