You didn’t show throttle position when cranking up the engines. I’ve had it on idle, and engines will catch fire 🔥 (ground startup position). Think you’re supposed to have a fuel cutoff position first, then move to idle. Just that I haven’t worked out yet, how to move throttles to cutoff position, must check the user manual. I’m using ver 1.0.5 from March 2023, FS2020
I have never experienced this myself, the only thing that I can possibly think of is maybe the fuel pumps have stopped working, starving the engines of fuel. Strange that it happens to both.
@@boresight2020 Just found out yesterday I did not turn on the fuel booster pump as a part of my preflight. But it did give me a good lesson in doing an emergency power off landing with wheels and flaps up as no engines means no hydraulics!
Nice video. BTW, you didn't mention opening the fuel valve by moving the throttle from cut-off to idle.
That's a good point, Thanks for the heads up, will pin this as top comment!
Screaming Banshee!!!! (T-37 Crew Chief, Laughlin AFB TX, 1987-1989) Nice airplane!
Thanks for the video! I'm going to start it in ground mode the next time!
Look forward to your future videos on this aircraft
Thanks for watching!

I am happily flying along in my T37 and all of a sudden I get a flame out on both engines. Why? [full tanks by the way]

@@johnhammond6423 Glad you got it sorted, also it's good to see it created an opportunity for you to practice emergency procedures!
