    Way cool! I was a Tweet IP for 2 consecutive tours (6 years in a row) and this recreates that ear-splitting, shrieking engine noise PRECISELY! Yes, I now have tinnitus something fierce.
    Pretty impressive how well you did. The T-37 was basically a flying go-kart. Fun to toss around, almost impossible to crash (although a few managed to), and built like an absolute tank; a very solid, predictable primary trainer. LOL, that cockpit was in way better shape than anything I flew!

    Back in the mid-seventies the attack variant of this airplane was still being built in the same Cessna factory as the twin prop planes. As a test-flight sparky I flew right seat in most of the prop twins but wasn’t allowed to even pop the canopy on the A-37s. Possibly because they had a functional M134 Minigun in the nose.

    Looks like a great simulation of the venerable "Six Thousand Pound Dog Whistle"! Look out on final with power on the centrifugal flow engines, they have a loooooong spool up time. Research the Thrust Attenuators in the documentation..... NICE JOB!

    A Tweet was released as an add ion to FSX many years ago. The cockpit was amazing in its day. Only problem I had was the fuel consumption. It could drink the tanks dry while you were still in sight of the airfield. Looks to be a great addition to anyone’s collection.

    It's a new favourite for me. Payware standard and already updated.

    I flew this one at Vance AFB ENID OK in the trainer simulator. This is just about that realistic!

    What a great little aircraft, and… someone did up a snowbirds livery, makes it even better. :)

    I got a flight in a Tweet way back in the early 80s during AFROTC field training camp. Nice airplane, though I could see how that high-pitched whine would drive instructors crazy and give students another reason to be eager to graduate to the T-38!

      The noise Never bothered anyone in the cockpit. But yes, we were all glad to move on to phase III when we were done.

    You need to turn on the inverter and generators to get gauges and radio working

    Fun little plane. Definitely worth the money! !! !!!

  • @jaysmith4302

    As I recall, the attitude indicator, heading indicator and fuel gauge were AC instruments. There's probably an invertor switch to get those things working. This seems like a nice add-on and the price is right but it appears to be way overpowered compared to the real thing. Still, it looks great and the devs are to be applauded for the effort.

    TAKI
    Taxiing, get it going and then to idle to taxi at a reasonable speed. Speed brakes works well also, it is situated on the right side of the engine 2 throttle
    For take-off I don't use flaps and at 100knts ease back on the stick and she flies off❤

    Works great in VR once you manually move your head position back to the cockpit.

    Other than that looks like a nice x-country machine.

    Canadians will like this because I believe this is what the SNOWBIRDS team fly😅❤😢 😅 That whistle would drive me crazy!

      That's why we called it a "fuel-to-noise-converter" back in the days I was flying it - it gave me a hearing damage and I if I would fly it here in MSFS I will definitely turn off that sound

    • @KJKsimmer
      @KJKsimmer ปีที่แล้ว

      Unfortunately, this is not what the snowbirds fly. There are similarities, but the Canadair is a different machine. Having said that, it will make a fantastic substitute until such time as a CT-114 is created.

    Doesn’t seem to work very well in VR! No cockpit on my system. To bad, maybe it can be fixed.

    • @buggsmoran

      You need to move the POV. I realized it when I looked behind myself. ALT DOWN to move back, DOWN to go down, I adjusted until I looked to the right and could see the copilot headrest. Made for a very enjoyable experience. (Just don't reset the view😁)

    • @Joshtheshua
      @Joshtheshua ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There are controls to move your head in VR. Use those to move back to the cockpit. It flies great in VR once there.

      I had the same issue... Go back to where you downloaded the plane and download/install it again. This was fixed as of version 1.1. :-)

    MSFS is the most gimmicky flight simulator since FS2000. 24 years of flying professionally and teaching in level D simulators…. I can attest that I am extremely disappointed in MSFS. When you rotated the tweet (I flew about 100 hours in the real T-37B) that same over oscillation kicks in. MSFS’s pitch axis needs major work. It’s not you, it’s not the freeware, it’s MSFS. Major rework needed.
