I am making a replica of my Mooney 201 that has the G3x, GTN 750, G-5, GMA 350, and G-500 autopilot. I am using the test panel that they made when they fitted the actual avionics in my plane. I may have to mod it if the touchscreens don't fit perfectly. I figure that I can pay for a 3d printer for the price of just the G3x from RealSim. I am mounting the cabin to a 4 x 8 steel base, 3/4" ply, wheels, and $15 car scissor jack bolted to the bottom to level it. It will fit inside of a Harbor Freight trailer. I have a FliteSim Force Feedback yoke and Ruddo pedals. If FliteSim starts selling Force Feedback pedals I will get them too. The only thing that I will have to disassemble to trailer it will be the monitors.
Hi is there any way to adress the issue tgat on tge touch screen ,the soft keys of pfd mfd com or the knob dont replicate and still have to use the mouse?thank you
I need to try to figure out why I can't get popouts to work anymore so i can give this a shot (popouts used to work but for some reason, just stopped).
Been using space desk for a while to extend displays in the longitude. Works a treat however, it causes my mouse pointer to be misaligned by a lot. Makes it super hard to use the mouse. Have you had this issue?
Mrs. Heyman, A touchscreen is quite vital to the physical well being of your husband as it aids as follows Reduces eye strain as you no longer find yourself squinting at the screen Aids in the reduction of wrist joint damage as less time on the mouse provides a more natural positioning of the hand and fingers Provides enhanced motor function as it requires more movement around the simulated cockpit Increased mental health as the complexity of the previously mentioned cockpit also increases Benefits to you are also provided as a happy husband leads to further splurging and spoiling of the ever supportive wife! I wish you both the best with your new touchscreen controller for flight simulation! Sincerely, OverKill
1. Can use on any iOS device with xDisplay. Do not buy an iOS app. You will end up buying a touchscreen :) 2. Edges cut off. You can control the popout width (second screen, fourth column). 3. You are only maybe halfway there my friend. See Sim Innovations, Air Manager... it will blow your mind. Buy v4 so you can customize... and buy a Knobster! Not only do you get GTC "side buttons" on your touchscreen but by touching the touchscreen "knob" you make it active (glow) and the Knobster can turn any knob including the G1000 duel encoder with a push button! Air Manager can automatical change the panels to match your aircraft including C172 six packs with radio stacks. 4. Suggest sharing the graphic load between your graphics card and motherboard graphics. My 3090 runs the main display and GTC (7" 1024x600). My motherboard runs the PFD and MFD (two 13.3" 1920x1080). Your flight experience is about to become insanely great!!!
I used to use an Andoid app that worked for the MCDU on the 737. It worked pretty well. This is pretty cool, and I just bought a new tablet.
bought two touchscreens and made a glass cockpit out of them. It is fantastic!

Thanks for the helpful videos. Wondering, could I put both the PFD & FMD on one 24" touchscreen w/knobster?
