@dante2469 While I've never played the DC version and own the PS2 and GC versions, I prefer the PS2 version the most. I prefer the Dualshock 2 due to the similarities to the controls of the original trilogy!

Does anyone knows how Spazbo4 make the game look this good on a 20 year old hardware? It's just the recording/output quality that looks like this or i can i replicate this kind of upscaling?
i have the DCDigital mod for my dreamcast, which outputs my dreamcast at double the resolution of the dreamcast through HDMI, then i upscaled it to 4k with editing software
@@Spazbo4 Oh, i see. So it's hardware modification, that explains the lack of visual glitches and audio synching issues, plus the crispness of the image. Thanks a lot man, i will look into it!
@@SR_Croft Agree. The only real advantage PS2 had over DC was DVD storage. And that's why huge incredible games like Gran Turismo 4 or GTA: San Andreas were possible on PS2. But graphically PS2 was a little worse than Dreamcast, it couldn't even support 480p natively. Though exclusive games still looked good as they should be

The gameplay is alright, but good god is the story and the “horror” is just laughable, I thought Capcom were taking cues from Silent Hill in the beginning (3D areas rather than a still image) and potentially needing to use a light source for most rooms, but you barely ever use it.

I used to played Code Veronica X, on PS2 version, this is a masterpiece
God it looks good on the Dreamcast. Glad I have both!
I honestly prefer the opening to the original Dreamcast version than the opening attract video you get in later versions.
