I decided to revisit this game and create a cinematic walkthrough since I don't have any in the channel. Because this is the 1st scenario, the time restriction for S+ is pretty comfortable so I took my time and didn't try to rush at all in this 100% run. - I decided to keep the uncensored cutscene even if it creates an age restriction for the video, but I feel like it's an aspect of this game that is better to be preserved. - The "no subweapons" restriction makes this game more comparable to the original RE2, since there was no grenade in that game and the knife was practically useless. It also gives you an incentive to appreciate the guns and how they were redesigned. Since I never bothered to run "hitless" in this game before, I thought this challenge would be a good opportunity for it. For the 2nd scenario runs, I may do something different. - If you're wondering how I know enemies are dead immediately, it's because I had the SRT on and could check enemies' HP values. In all my previous runs of this game, I never relied on it. You can tell whether they are dead or not anyway because the enemies in this game have consistent HP and the damage you deal is also consistent in the same situations (except for critical shots). So it was just for my own convenience as I didn't want to memorize all the values (even though I remember most of them) and do the calculations on the fly. - In terms of hitless, I managed to avoid all staggers, including dead zombies falling on Leon when decapitated - which in my opinion shouldn't count as a hit in the first place. *"Kill all enemies":* - In the intro, there is not enough ammo to realistically kill anyone except for the gas station zombie so I don't even bother wasting the last bullet. I use 9 bullets for him with fully focused headshots. - In the RPD, I kill all window and "out of bounds "zombies. However, in the RPD basement, you can trigger an additional dog by leaving one of the dogs alive initially in the kennel but I feel like it's better to kill all dogs right away for cinematic purposes. - In Ada's section, I was very unfortunate with the critical shots, so I decided to let the sleeping zombie be - I still backtracked to kill the remaining ones after using the elevator. Killing all including the sleepy zombie requires decent RNG with critical shots but I didn't want to restart the whole run over that. - In this kill all, I decided to defeat Mr. X at least once and the encounter in the jail escape was the one that made the most sense for it. I also incapacitated him before Super Tyrant. - For G2 Birkin, I decided to get the single crane hit trophy while still dodging him in the most interesting way. The easiest way would be to use the crane only with the turnaround loop I discovered years ago and demonstrated in my old runs, but I wanted to show how to dodge his five hit combo without getting stunned (hit). In this run, I showcased two different methods to dodge his five hit combo. *Highlights:* - Licker fights: fighting lickers for Leon can be pretty difficult without knives, flashbangs or grenades. I have to isolate them to be able to have a reasonable fight - found some interesting methods for that. The upgraded magnum can be pretty effective at killing them with this setup - 2:00:05 . - Jail break: killing all enemies here without greandes/flashbangs can be challenging (1:22:26). Mr. X fight also looked cool and immersive with Leon's voice lines (1:23:41). - G2: I found out different methods to dodge his five hit combo hitless which has two different versions: version 1 (2:16:38) / version 2 (2:16:50). - Super Tyrant: a bold method of dodging his instakill attack: 3:05:50 / 3:06:28

whooo, I enjoyed this even more then the last one. I like leons path for an all kill run because of that shotgun. its just convient and early in for clearing out zombies. But both paths are fun in their own way! thanks for showing this one as well :D
You spent a great deal of time mastering this game and it shows. You've memorized every item and enemy. Your knowledge of the game mechanics, from positioning and luring zombies, Mr. X and lickers is incredible. This was truly a pleasure to watch! There was never a dull moment, and the battles against bosses were insane. Great job!!!
The whole thing that kills me about this game and any other game with actual zombies is they go down with a single headshot in cutscenes but they tank headshots in literally every other part of the game. It's absolutely ridiculous.
You could make an argument for climbing over a fence with barbed wire on top of it isn't the greatest idea and the lock on that door is probably pretty sturdy since it's an entrance to a police station with jails and stuff. Shooting it could help but they obviously don't wanna make loud noises. BUT there's a bolt cutter lying right there, so ... And wouldn't Claire climbing over the fence be counterintuitive because Leon's literally looking for a way out. In the end I think we all can agree on a cohesive plot line isn't RE's strong suit but it's hella fun 😅
@@inawinchester true, but there is not much barbed wire on the fence, Leon could shoot the look or try at least to kick the door open, I mean I would try
I've played this game countless times, and I never noticed before that during the cutscene with Kendo and his daughter, it's raining...INSIDE of his Gun Shop! 👀
RE2 and RE4 are the best resident evils in the series by far. I hope RS9 has leon in it and it should be a mixed of the two. Maybe it starts in a huge castel, closer to the claustrophobic nature of 2 and then moves on to an open world, the first RE open world with leon of course😊

The parts that I don't like in Leon's story are: Leon getting attacked by a zombie dog, getting grabbed by Mr X twice, being held at gunpoint by Robert Kendo and Ada saying, "Sorry. That information's classified" and "Don't push it, rookie." I wouldn't trust Ada as far as I could throw her. Leon is always too slow. He's supposed to be cop. He's a very bad cop who can't protect himself because he's defenceless. I could do a better job than him. Mr X looks like Jon Voight. Leon can't even fight his way out of a paper bag. He couldn't shake a single zombie dog off him.
Yeah I don’t like most of those moments either, especially in those where you can see Claire’s version of them like G3 makes her more competent yet she’s a college student.
Well tbf the reason Leon was held at gunpoint because Kendo surprised him and Kendo doesnt trust anyone cuz of the madness going on in the city. Also most of the time(not all) if a normal rookie cop like Leon were to ask questions to a literal FBI(altough she isnt)and said they are classified, the cop is going to believe and stop asking questions about the "classified" topic and move on.
