Wow, what an improvement! I was very skeptical and thought it was going to a worthless renovation but this is rather impressive. The kitchen leading into the living room looks great and is very functional, the colour choice is also very nice and modern.
The remodel certainly increased the value of the house, but also during that time the prices of housing has increased, so the renovations might not take all the credit.
Well there's a Bluey toy in one of the shots at 3:50, and that show only came out in 2018 - and I'm pretty sure that it didn't reach the UK until later than that, so it must be pretty recent.
Now that people know he spent only £28K, no one would value what he did at £48K, at least not within 4-5 years. I really doubt that £28K is the total cost (like everything and incl. VAT).
@@dor843088 I know it said, that is how I know the amount, but knowing the properties and the cost of building in that area I call BS either that or I want the number of their suppliers and builders as I have a project for them.
I'll tell you what I got for just over £28k - which I spent renovating my house to make it wheelchair accessible in 2019 in South Buckinghamshire (please note we didn't need to pay VAT): - Knocked down wall of upstairs bathroom and extended + converted entire bathroom into a roll in shower with smart underfloor heating with tiles from 'Top Tiles' a new sink and basin from Neptune, and toilet/taps/shower heads from Lusso Stone plus radiator from Victoria Plumbing - £12k New driveway that ramps up to front door - £3k New combi boiler system setup from loft to replace 1950's boiler in kitchen that had my builder's taking pictures on their phones as it was so old school- £4k inc. installation and plumbing Replacing downstairs bathroom door with sliding door - £500 Replacing front door - £1200 Replacing garden door - £400 inc. small ramp to garden Stannah Stair lift - £4k Painting - £2k Post construction work cleaning - £150 New lights in the entire house inc. large hanging lights in hallway + installation - £1k

£28k!? Fantastic

Kirsty’s sigh at 0:35 😂
why is Kirsty sighing?
So basically, like shops with stuff to sell, get bigger windows?
What year was this broadcast?
There is no way you can do that for 28,000

Don't like the black and gray and it doesn't seem any bigger. They were never moving anyway.

No way they did that work for £28k.
They did . It said.

£28k to remove 1 wall, reposition the kitchen, add a big window, bi-folds and removing chimney? It bit pricey to be honest.
OMG…What’s happened to Kirsty’s face?
Both Phil and Kirstie have been in videos for so many years that we're now noticing that they have aged.
