Taking you along for fabulous finds as they have reset the store. Designers and resellers line up on Tuesdays for new treasures. Tip: this is my favorite shopping day! No worries if shop other days, as they are always adding new items. Showcasing a huge Chinoiserie platter collection, with detailed history of the iconic Blue Willow pattern. French antiques, Italian Capodimonte, and English porcelain. See the Sevres dishes that are museum quality. Japonaise dining furniture is accented with Palace Garden dishes. Thank you for taking the time to show us all the lovely items to be found in The Blue Bird Circle. I am what some would call a "glass hound". In other words, I'm "magnetically drawn" to glass! It fascinates me. I guess I "got it" from my mom who collected beautiful glass bowls, platters & stemware during their travels in Europe while my father served in the military. Regretfully, much of the glass was broken during the many moves my family had to make due to his military service. I still have a few pieces that I treasure. I live in a small home with not a lot of space to display more than I already own. So, I live vicariously through your videos oohing & ahhing over the lovely pieces you show us. I also appreciate you showing the back stamps because they are often times as lovely as the piece they adorn.

You go to the most wonderful places
I live down the street from Blue Bird Circle, and go there about once a week. Great prices on kitchen wear, holiday items, lamps, etc. Furniture can be very expensive there, but for $250, I once got the most comfortable couch I ever owned! Most sofas there now run $400-$600 or more, but every now and then, you find a bargain.

I have such a good time following you about the shop, every time you go to a thrift store! We have many in the Dallas area, and I get out to look around often, mostly to get in some walking, and most thrift stores have carts on which an older lady (ahem!) finds good to use as a support. The really good part of thrift stores is that if I find something I cannot resist, it is usually affordable. Do keep us entertained with your guidance. Your background and expertise make your videos stand out from all the rest.

So fun to be reminded of many items in storage now and a way of life that seems to have past as we get older. Our children are not interested 😢
Working everyday to inspire the next generation to embrace these treasures. Maybe they can reconsider. Keeps items out of landfills and has more quality and craftsmanship than what is available in box stores.
Everything is lovely…some are truly enchanting. Why pay for expensive cheaply made furnishings when you can go to thrift/antique/charity/auction/consignment shops and purchase amazing pieces at reasonable prices. Your home will always be the unique one.
What is quadraplate
Quadruple plate silver refers to items that are coated with a 0.012 inch thick layer of silver. This is four times the amount of normal silver plating. These items are made with a more affordable base layer such as copper or nickel and electroplated with an outer layer of silver.

The resale shops in Ohio do not look that good!
Columbus has a huge Goodwill. I was moving a college kid and no time to thrift. Have not explored charity resales in Ohio. Someday!
