The main bathroom in my current house was originally tiled in pink with black trim, built in 1958! I chose Wallace Grand Baroque as my sterling pattern in the mid 70's. Only used a few of the 12 place settings. Many are still in original plastic wrappings like those shown. I love collecting other odd and end pattern serving pieces that I didn't get with my pattern. Thank you for taking us along.
Hi LMB lovely to have you back in Tennessee. We are right up the road in Clarksville. So many goodies today, my paternal grandmother had the Sunnyvale China, always fun to see? 🌺
@@LadyMaryBeth There are several small places up here plus the Goodwill’s. The one place that I really enjoyed Was Miss Lucille‘s marketplace on Madison Street. It’s big and has a lot of goodies!!! Would be fun to see you do a video from a place here in Clarksville 😊
LMB thanks for another great video! There was so much to see. What stands out to me is the Quality of the pieces! Nothing like what’s produced today! Hope you were not greatly effected by the Houston storm! Hope you have power!
Well said about the quality and craftsmanship of these items. Cannot be found in box stores today. This is one more reason to shop for antiques. We got power restored after three days. Such a relief to have a/c and light!
Love the history of the items. Maybe there could be a Lady Mary Beth challenge; where you are turned loose in an antique shop and create a complete dinning room using the items from the store. From tables to chairs and everything else needed.
Thank you once again Lady Mary Beth! You always have such knowledge about antique’s and pass it on. I have learned so much watching you. I appreciate your ideas and love looking at back stamps on china because of you! I actually found a beautiful and rare Japanese tea cup and saucer this weekend. Love finding treasures. When I go to Tennessee I’ll will definitely visit this place! Ty❤️
I remember learning about convex mirrors back in my medieval art history class (25 years ago now 😮). It appears in the Arnolfini wedding portrait by Van Eyck, as you mentioned.
I love the blue and white booth. I was delighted to see you show the Jamestown blue glasses that I received for my wedding many years ago. I have a service for 10 in 3 sizes. I still use and love them.
I appreciate you! Have been sick since the Houston Resale Guide launch. Then, we had a catastrophic storm in Houston. Ready for some down time in Germany.
Fantastic! ❤️ You covered so much 🤓 You got that Fenton pitcher 😍Beautiful! You were looking Beautiful as well 🥰 love the Ruby glass becoming one of my favorites ❤️ so did New Martinsville become Viking?? I have some Ruby glass I’m needing help/w We’ll post on “Table Top” also thanks for including the 2056 🇺🇸 All our LOVE to you❤ (still working on your East TN travel package) 🏔️🧡🦋
You are correct. New Martinsville became Viking Glass in 1944. They were known for colored glass. Thanks for checking on us with the TN and Texas storms. Happy to have power restored. East Tennessee would be fun!
Thank you for your fun and informative videos. There are so many places I want to visit when I am in Houston to see family becaue of your videos. I recently purchased that beautiful Orrefors bowl which is signed and numbered at a resale shop for $30.00. I bought it and ran!
What a great gym!! I have that same china pattern. The cobalt, gold, and white RoyalWorcester Regency. I absolutely love it. Thanks for showing such high quality items.
My mom brought a MCM atomic kind of look over from Germany back in the day the type that had 4 plant holders with the bottom base yellow blue laminate just loved it.
Almost missed you. Was just about to snuggle down. Fantastic quality finds here. So many beautiful candle sticks. I always think that a candle should be just a little used for display. A new candle always looks staged x
Thank goodness you are from Texas, so that gives us Texans one more thing about which to brag! Your videos are exceptional. You have the experience and training to inform us with a running commentary as you browse through an antique store or thrift store, and your poise is unmatched, in my opinion. Keep these wonderful shopping trips coming my way, and I thank you so much!
Did you know your local concrete skateboard park is hand formed? Some concrete parks in Canada are closing in on 40 years old !! Love the vids!! Love the nail color btw
I've watched many of your videos and have never seen what I collect ...clear daisy and button with the amber panel..I call it my cheap collection because I never find any to buy..
Just read your reply this morning. Well I'm going on a trip to Georgia and I wish I had about four of that style of dresses. I'm heavy but petite and most dresses like that are way too long and I don't want to pay to have somebody hand them and also I can't even find that style unless you pay $200 or $150. Well thank you for your reply. I truly appreciate it on my way to the mall frantically
We had the green bathroom circa 1955. Encountered some pink bathrooms when we moved 25 years ago. I like them. I purchased a home 3 years ago and did the backsplash in kitchen with black and white tiles. I do have a question. Lots of China are marked with a market showing the price. How does one remove the mark?
Hi Lady Mary Beth I continue to love your exquisite taste My Dear. I have relocated to Little Rock AR from Pittsburgh Pa you need to visit Antique Stores here!
Hello! I am new to you. I am wondering if you may be willing to help me with how much you travel and look at antiques. When I was little (I am 43 as of today) I remember going all over the state of Florida with my Mom for her to purchase a set of plates. She bought them as she could find them and it was hard then! Seems even more impossible now. We lost my mom 3 years ago and my dad 2 years ago. My sister got that set of 4 plates. I would love to have a set for myself. I’ve looked all over local to me (Gadsden, AL). They are blue floral, made by Old Hall Ivory Ware out of England. Do you think you could keep an eye out and lmk if you find any? Please! It would mean so much to me! I have a picture of the plate I just don’t know how to show you.
Hello, Lady Mary Beth, I’ve been a fan since your program on HGTV. So glad to have found you again on UTUBE. In this show you bypassed a gorgeous painted plate that depicts the painting “La Liseuse” by Fragonard. Is there any way to find out if they still might have it? It has always been a favorite of mine; I would love to buy it.😊
Thank you for your quick and so helpful response. It’s too late to reach them today, but I’ll try first thing tomorrow. Could I impose on you for your opinion on what a piece like this might cost? You’re very good at estimating!
LMB has such incredible knowledge & ways to increase your storage space!
I love going with you on your antiquing trips. Thank you
What a beautiful store.

Thank you for taking us along.
A time capsule! My aunt and uncle had a 1950's black and pink bathroom. Wallace Grand Baroque is a stately pattern. Love it!
How fun and interesting browsing antiques with you, Lady Mary Beth (as always). What nice things in this store! And prices not bad at all. 💖
That Fenton pitcher is to die for. Glad you purchased it.😊❤
I hand-carried it on the plane. Worth it!
What a place!!!
Love the MCM finds ❤️❤️. Back in the 50s, my mother’s dream was to have a pink and grey kitchen. I still remember that color combination.
As always, very enjoyable.
Thank You.
I really appreciate all the historical references in your videos. Danke!
Thank you for showing the Celebrate China set! My grandmother had that pattern. Brought back good memories to me.
Hi LMB lovely to have you back in Tennessee. We are right up the road in Clarksville. So many goodies today, my paternal grandmother had the Sunnyvale China, always fun to see? 🌺

Love the history of the items. Maybe there could be a Lady Mary Beth challenge; where you are turned loose in an antique shop and create a complete dinning room using the items from the store. From tables to chairs and everything else needed.
I have done this with a Goodwill table setting and a holiday look at Charity Guild Shop. Such fun!
What a fabulous antique mall! I learn so much from you and appreciate my beautiful China and Waterford treasures every day!

Beautiful items, I love the pitcher and the cake knife. And all the history. Amazing wall hangings and pictures. Thank you!
I remember learning about convex mirrors back in my medieval art history class (25 years ago now 😮). It appears in the Arnolfini wedding portrait by Van Eyck, as you mentioned.
Thankfully, we have paintings as historical records. Have often seen Federal mirrors in historical homes. Would be nice to incorporate.
My husband has daguerreotypes from family members that were in the Civil War and also letters they sent to family members.
Priceless pieces of history!
Beauties every one! Thank you for taking us along and your encyclopedia of information!❤

You should check out the antique auction every month in spring hill. They have tons of European and American furniture
Happy you are safe from the storm. Take care of you

Yes, a candle should be lit at least to darken the wick. You are up late! Thought you might catch it in the morning. Thanks for watching! 😘
My mother, who was the epitome of “proper” always made sure her tapers had been lit and extinguished before her dinner parties.
Makes want a teapot and tea cup collection
Such fun to collect. Each guest can choose their teacup at tea time.
Wonderful job Mary Beth, I have learned to much with your videos, thanks for everything. Congratulations from Monterrey, México 🍍
Thanks so much! Greetings from Texas!
So many beautiful items and your presentation and knowledge of each piece was so beneficial. I live in Spring Hill and must take time to visit.

I appreciate your kind comment.
Another great video, I learn so much from you .
Thank you, lovely shop.
Glad to see you are bouncing back from Houston’s weather.
We got power back after three days. Not all homes in Houston have been restored. Grateful to the linemen who came from other states to help us.
What a lovely destination! I’m nearby in Murfreesboro so I will definitely stop by!
You will love Spring Hill Antiques!
What a great find you made with that pitcher! S.
I hesitated for a minute due to travel, and then decided it is a must have.

I liked the salt/pepper set that was behind the Waterford cake knife. Was it by a hobbiest, I wonder?

I do have a question. Lots of China are marked with a market showing the price. How does one remove the mark?
I meant marker
Dish soap usually removes the black marker. Nail polish remover is my back-up.
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Where did you get your darling dress
A friend wore it well and I searched for it online. Will have to look at the label.
Hi Lady Mary Beth I continue to love your exquisite taste My Dear. I have relocated to Little Rock AR from Pittsburgh Pa you need to visit Antique Stores here!
I live in Springhill FL
Neat! Maybe you can visit Spring Hill, Tennessee someday.
My daughter will be visiting Germany next month, what treasures should she look for?
Local flea markets and charity resale “Sozialkaufhaus” are great places to shop.
Hi lovely video! How do you know for sure, if it’s safe to eat in old china?
Most vintage china is safe for food consumption if no cracks or crazing. I avoid hand-painted china that is unglazed.
Oh wonderful! Thanks! I learned so much watching all your videos!

Yes ma’am. No luck. Thank you for the suggestion though 🥰

Looks like it is available with an online seller.
