I fell i love with Maureen O Hara when I was 8 years old with films of that time - she was such a beautiful woman and even as an 8 year old I was enchanted . I am now 80 and still think of this beautiful lady and her films.
She took a two yr hiatus from films and recorded two albums; one of Irish tunes, one of romantic songs. All amazing, as were all her talents. And beautiful besides.

What a performance from Maureen. An amazing voice. Why did I not know she could sing? So much better than many that appeared in musicals & just as stunning

My great gram was pure Irish..I didn’t get to meet her though, and sometimes forget about this side, since everyone is gone. I don’t know much of my Irish story, though I do have our towns! And from the dates of immigration I suspect they were evictions. Still trying to fill in some of the blanks on this side…
