I don't know about anyone else, but I subscribed as I really want an Allett mower, right now i want to work at the company. Watching with interest and thanks for the video's, great to see a product supported so enthusiastically :)
Really good idea about trying to mow the grass in the 6 boxes - after all its not how well a grass grows (or what it looks like if never mowed) that probably matters to most people, what matters is how does it "look" after a mow.
maybe next year you could do a series on overseeding eg where you scarified the lawn hard (really hard) to get rid of a build up of thatch etc, and then overseed - you could again use a few different seeds and also a few techniques eg aeration holes vs no aeration holes, no covering seeds vs covering seeds with compost or soil.sand etc?
You can pre order off our site Unfortunately we have extreme demand at the moment and we simply can’t make them any faster. It will be worth the wait! They’re British made!
@@ALLETTMOWERSUK.i didnt realize you could order direct from allett..i will order one thanks.. some will say british made just means the doors will fall off and the floor will rot..ever heard of rover lol..the that will do attitude that ruined britain..im glad things are made better nowadays..people now care and have passion.. mclaren..allett
I imagine that Allett are trying to be generic with their trial (rather than promote one option or supplier over another) and one can completely understand why that might be. Only the other hand having done extensive research last year, my personal conclusion was that the latest varieties (which Austin makes reference to) are worth trying - in part because some much extensive research and development goes in to the best options. At 3:27 into the vlog it's interesting Austin referee to good striping characteristics + the ability to mow low. I settle on Johnson's Premier Pitch Pro Nitro (other alternatives are available) details of which are as follows : The nitrogen coating on the seed gives a huge boost in the initial few weeks of growth. www.johnsonssportsseed.co.uk/mixtures/johnsons-sports-seed/mixtures/football-and-rugby-mixtures/j-nitro-premier-pitch-prod1790

This is a brilliant series thank you, it will be fascinating to see the results! Wish you’d shown us how you levelled the lawns too.
Looking forward to more updates, keep em coming 👍
I'm with Sunny Bermuda very interesting, can't wait to see the results. Good luck.
☀️Looks like an interesting set of seed types. No Bermuda?!!? 🤣
I'm planning a lawn renovation project, too and I'm using the same percentage of your second seed mixtures.
Good luck! Let us know how you get on!
