Hey Dr. Darren, I just took the BGI elective at Life West, taught by Eric Rubin, so I am starting to palpate and become aware of tone in the body. While watching, an idea popped in my head, that tone over certain body parts may correlate to a certain vertebral level, similar to the concept of dermatomes or how certain spinal nerves correspond to certain organs. For example could palpating higher tone in the hamstrings indicate a potential subluxation in the S1/S2 level? Have you ever considered this in your analysis? I love your analysis and explanations by the way. Hope you facilitate a KTC camp in the bay again in 2020. I'll be there. - Dylan
Hi @Nathan P My practice isn't open quite yet..a month or so until that happens. Find me on Instagram (@drdarrenmurphy) or Facebook and connect with me there. We can figure something out.
Hey @Andrew Reed Great question. Muscles, organs and even cells have a vibrational frequency. This vibrational frequency can be thought of as the amount of life force energy making it to a certain part of the body. Subluxations interfere and distort the tone, frequency and quality of life force making it to a certain part of the body. Chiropractors help the body restore tone, thus functional frequency to a living system.

When you say “tone” are you talking vibrational frequency or muscle tonicity?
