- In this motovlog I go on a ride out to visit a popular motorcycle road side stop called the Silver Ball Cafe. The Bike I ride today is the 2022 BMW S1000R Sport

You’re so right! Everything you were saying about motorcycling is so true. This weekend I went out to see my kids and grandsons, and just the fact that I was on my bike as the mode of transportation made a normally mundane ride an exciting adventure through winding mountain roads. I had time to think and not think, if you know what I mean. Huzzah to the riders of the world! Keep up the good work Rye👍

loved my 19 s1000r was told they have no character but what a tool and that induction roar so good! would love the rsv4 but knees won't do it anymore!
I rode one about 8 years ago while my RT was having new tires installed. Sure it’s fast, and light. I can’t imagine taking this bike on a 500 mile ride. I’ll stick with my 1250RT thanks.

Been subscribed for quite some time now. Used to pull up in the car park at with friends as i lived in Hastings many years ago, so it was a stopping point for a feed. Now living on the sunshine coast Australia but still missing my ride outs over there with my mates. Keep up the great work...Reminds me of home :)

Isn't Switzerland extremely strict? I feel I would likely get into a lot of trouble and end up locked up 🤣
@@BikesofRye Hehe...probably... But yeah, it is indeed...but you have always some opportunities to play with the throttle 😜. However, in the passes you have less control and it is where you get most of the fun, curves after curves...

@@BikesofRye I've been riding for 28 years, loads of bikes really. Last 2 were a 2012 R6 and currently a 2019 MT-09 SP. The MT has been a barrel of fun
Love bikes, ridden for over 3 decades. Had everything from Super nakeds to Sports to Sport tourers to Adventures etc.
Just remember it’s a road not a racetrack, yeah you can push it at times but fully committing to blind corners will get you dead real quick if the box drivers at junctions don’t get you first.
Make progress but ride safe.

So question for you I asked you if I would be upset going for my thruxton 1200R to a triple RS 765. but now you have me considering the BMW S1000R sport is it really worth the price difference??
Annoying that BMW now only offer the S1000R in either bland grey with bright yellow stickers plus cool-looking bronze colour rear frame or in all-black without the cool-looking bronze colour rear frame.
