Crohn’s perianal fistulas: Samantha’s story

Perianal fistulas are a painful complication of Crohn’s disease[1]. Samantha, from Manchester, England shared her experiences of living with this disabling condition.
Samantha developed a fistula sometime after being diagnosed with Crohn’s disease. However, the fistula went undiagnosed for three years. The condition has contributed to Samantha experiencing multiple surgeries, which has impacted her quality of life.
