Since the last year, I have been religiously following ETMoney TH-cam channel. Each and every video teaches me something new or gives a new perspective on money and investment fields. Congrats for 200K subscriber milestone. Well done!
Thank you very much for your kind wishes. Yes, that's what we are aiming at - we have posted over 200 videos on the channel and if every video can give even one new idea or perspective on investing, then the viewer would have demonstrably jumped his or her understanding of this subject. Thx again, for your continued patronage
Few more advantages of multi asset funds I) potentially avoid capital gains and transaction cost of periodic rebalancing if doing multi asset portfolio on your own ii) in case multi asset fund has more than 65% equity, the debt and gold portion becomes treated as equity and more tax efficient under high bracket
Nicely explained and very crisp, for a conservative investor like me Multi-asset allocation fund would make sense, my expectation is a moderate returns up to 12% from this type of fund where I don't want my capital to erode
A very well researched content. And many congratulations to entire ET Money team for reaching a milestone of 2 lakhs subscribers. All the very best🙋🏻♂️😍
You told in this video that a multi asset fund can give 8-12% return. But on the other hand, icici multi asset fund, which has completed 20 years few days back, had given a cagr of 21.2 % since inception.
Many many congratulations👏🥳🎉 to the entire team of ETMONEY for achieving the major milestone of 2 lakh subscribers!!! Wishing you many more success! As usual, this video on multi asset allocation has been very informative and enlightening! Great work! 🙏👍👏🙌✌💪
Thank you for a great video. Super precise and helpful. ! Additionally it seems Multi Asset Funds seems to be the next level of a Dynamic Asset Allocation Funds which auto diversify only across Equity and Debt. So do the same recommendations also hold true for Dynamic Asset Allocation Funds as well?
Top notch content as usual. Is there a video describing which one is prudent , investing in a multicap/flexicap fund Vs individual large+mid+small cap ?
Thanks. We don't have a video on that as the funds won't be comparable. Because - 1. Flexicaps can have different allocations to large, mid and small & 2. Multicaps will have different stocks within the 50%:25%:25% allocations. Actually, some variations (like we did in this video and the asset allocation video) are possible but it would make sense if it is done on basis index funds rather than actively managed funds. Hope you are getting our quandary on this.
@@ETMONEY A flexicap fund manager has liberty to tweak the cap allocation as per market behaviour but this liberty doesn't exist with a multicap as it's 50-25-25 . Is that understanding correct? And what is an ideal cap allocation : large-mid-small ? My risk score in the ET money app report was 42-56
I love to see your videos..First of all congratulations for achieving 2lakh subscriber base.. Recently many known personalities and some business houses are endorsing option tradeing...What is option tradeing? How it works? Is it gambling? Please do a video on it.
Many congratulations for 200K+ subscribers.. Thank you for spreading knowledge and making your viewers understand finance in easy way.. I have a video suggestion 1. How / Where to get historical data of various asset classes. 2. How to analyse mutual fund's past performance using various tools..
Hi Saurabh Singh - thank you for your appreciation. 1. Historical data on various assets can be fetched from the NSE website. Try this link: www1.nseindia.com/products/content/equities/indices/historical_index_data.htm 2. Pls use the ETMONEY Report Card to get insights on most schemes based on performance, downside protection and ranking score
Yes I use et money app for investment and refer your ratings & report card and it gives you quick insights of MF but still I request you if you can teach your viewers how to analyse MF past data.
Sir, saw an article about icici multi asset fund saying it is very good.. When i compared with other funds in the same category, found quant multi asset fund in rank 1 and also better 1 year and 3 year returns. Is it safe to invest as sip in quant multiasset fund? Or should i go for icici, axis or any other? What's your opinion. Awaiting your response please 🙏
That's a great video sir..pure gold...I wish your subscribers compound at a very fast pace. Please clarify the withdrawal rules in NPS Tier 1 if a person starts NPS investment after 65 years?
Your videos forced me to think but love your efforts. Could you explain what is the tax implementation on such funds? Coz the LTCG and the STCG for equity (Indian and the US), gold, Invts, REITs are different.

I have a question ET money... If i put my money in MF for 40years it becomes 5-6 crores what will be the tax on it. Assuming i invested 50 lac by sip during this period.

Hello sir. My name is prayag and i am a regular follower of your channel. I have fixed asset of worth 2cr. I want to sell and generate monthly income from FD for 5 yr. Meanwhile from the monthly interest income, i'll make a investment portfolio plus other income sources like rental etc. After 5 yr i'll have a good portfolio that will give me a descent return. Apart from this i'll have my other income sources plus my 2 cr capital. By this strategy i want to retire right now. Plz do reply.
Why quantum multi asset fund which is in existence since 2012 is not covered? I have invested, very conservative people. But one should expect just like FD plus type of teturn.

This is great. What's your opinion on dynamic asset allocation funds?
Again a very nice, unbiased, balanced and crisp edu video. Good Job. Keep posting such informative videos
Thanks
Isn't it better to invest 100% only in equity MF if investment horizon is 15-20 years?
Initially yes..but as your corpus becomes larger you have to have some downside protection

Do FD, PPF considered as debt fund or not?
Yes. They are debt instruments. But cannot be considered as funds
The topic has been approached very ystematically.
Thanks, much appreciated

Excellent video as usual.
Is it possible to start an SIP in my minor daughter's name ?
Yes, through a guardian..
Thanks, what I meant was through ET money app with myself as Guardian ? I am KYC compliant
@@kmurari68 I suggest/recommend to start a iSIP directly through AMC website/app, instead of investing through third party apps.
@@gouseteluguvlogs741 Thanks a lot sir
I would suggest more graphs instead of just numbers. It would make presentation more interesting
