- Quick and easy tutorial to make these gorgeous Baby Milestone Discs. Use your Cricut, Silhouette Cameo or other cutting machine (Yes! Even works on a Cricut Joy mat! 🙌) to cut out the vinyl, paint in whatever colour you would like and make sure to seal the paint with an acrylic sealer.
These make the perfect gift for any new parent and great for photo props.

What font is this? I purchased the 20 bundle but I wanted to make my nephews name for the milestones but can’t find a similar font
Can you put the vinyl and paint on one side only and seal that up? In other words, only one side of the disc is used and you don’t feel the vinyl when running your fingers over the top side of the disc.
I wonder about that two. I guess test it out to see whether it works or not. My concern with putting it all on one side is the paint, will it give a clean professional look cause one might run into paint bleeding through the vinyl lettering? Or idk would love to know too👍🏽

Hi did you paint over once dried as I’ve done the same as yours but when I hold them up to the light I can see like brush line even tho I did it with a sponge brush

Do you paint on one side and then put the vinyl on the other side? Or put the vinyl over the paint?
First one is correct
I keep getting major brush stroke lines on mine and I can’t figure out how to get rid of them with still having those wispy feather edges. Any ideas? Or are you supposed to see the brush strokes?
I have exactly the same issue. Plus it always has a horrible rough texture on the back even after sealing.
Do you put the vinyl on top of the paint

I LOVE these! My only concern is thinking we would need to use a food safe sealer because as we ALL know these will end up in the baby’s mouth!
Depends on what your final design is and the materials you use. As with all children's products, adult supervision is required along with any accurate labelling and warnings.
