    Your buddy clearly doesn't understand the concept of 'free' when it comes to firewood. Free wood is free of cost. It is certainly not free of the time it takes to process it.

    I think everyone is misunderstanding the concept of "free!"
    the true meaning of "free" is already split into perfect pieces, delivered, stacked and a box of matches...now that is FREE.

      Thats why its in my pile to burn now.

    That was a good test for the little Ultra. Sometimes fast splitters arn't that great on ugly stuff but it seemed to perform very well. Great team effort, well done.

      The ugly stuff is where the single wedge shines

    From what I've seen, you and Chris's toys play well together. It has been a great friendship/relationship between the two of you that Chris might be wondering why he didn't move out of the old woodyard sooner. A guy I'm making boiler wood for doesn't gice a hoot about what wood I gice him for his boilers as he said, "I'll burn anything, including pine." So if I get willow, cottonwood, etc dumps by my tree service suppliers, that wood automatically goes to him. No idea why anyone would complain about free wood.

    • @BertsCustomCuts
      @BertsCustomCuts  26 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      I told him if he wants wood now, it's not going to be free.

    Bert that ole boy probably wanted you to split it for him. Lol You taking the time to split it you may as well burn it yourself. Don't blame you. Peace! -Everett

    I definitely wouldn’t complain about that pile of wood. Free wood is good wood. Looks like mostly poplar. Burn tons of it here. Not much good wood here so burn what we can get. Great work guys.

    I know Chris would take everything that is sellable. With all the boiler wood you are getting now (from your own stuff and Chris's rejects), you may have to sell excess boiler wood. No more giving out free wood from here on out (without at least a trade). That guy who was complaining about free wood not being up to his standard can go to hell. He has to pay.

      If I mix that with higher BTU wood, it will be fine or burn in spring when heat demand isn't as high.
