Silent Hiking In Hardangervidda Norway For 4 Days

- I solo hiked and backpacked 80km for 4 days across the Hardangervidda plateau in Norway. The route starts in Kinsarvik and ends in Odda/Tyssedal depending on where you want to end your route. The trail is true wilderness except the part at the Trolltunga which is quite touristy. The trail is signaled by the red T's, but it can be very tricky at certain sections. The best thing is to have a GPX of the trail on hand.
This is a silent hiking film without monologue.

Thank you Yens and your furry friend (Jack?) for this splendid hiking video 😍 Norway has amazing landscapes. And when they are documented with your wonderful cinematographic talent, we got (once again) a true visual delight!
Thank you so much :)
The cinematography in this video is next level. You have a real talent for bringing places to life on screen!"
I enjoy that circumstance, The mountain with the river.

Excellent video and hiking! Norway is beautiful.😀
Awesome video. Well made and edited. You are on the next level. Nothing more to add.
I'we done some hiking on the plateau during the years as well, but on the southern part of the plateau.
Thumbs up immediately and greetings from Norway 🇧🇻
Really, really beautiful video, thank you for filming it and sharing it with the world! I wonder, would you consider uploading some of your videos without music? I think I'd prefer to hear only the wind and the sound of footsteps and the soft roar of fire - the little piano noises don't add anything. In either case, thanks again for a lovely, peaceful video.
This is amazing!

Have been waiting for this video for a while since you announced it! We went this summer also to Hardangervidda for 5 days and it was mind blowing! Norway is amazing and I'm definitely going again.
You definitely should. Worth it every penny

Schitterende video Yens! Hardangervidda is prachtig in beeld gebracht! Ik kijk steeds weer uit naar jouw video’s!
Thanks Frank!
Thank you for this beautiful trip. I love the dog, too :)
haha thank you!
I LOVE DOGS.
I remember walking through that wasteland and it was one of the most peaceful but at the same time harsh and impressive places ive ever been
Hardangervidda really kicks your ass even though the altitude differences isnt much
fantastic!! marvellous trip with the best company. So nice see you 2 watching the sun set with that view!! Was this a summer trip?
🤩😍 merci
Jack is the best dog in the world 🙂 Just wonderful Yens, every video is a new masterpice....stay healthy my friend

The shots at Trolltunga are Insane 😍
Definitely highlight of the trip
Wauw🙏I love to Watch your trip❤️greetings from Paul
Thanks!
oh, Trolltunga.. nepamirstama vieta, aciu uz nuostabu filma. subscr.
Thanks :)
AMAZING
Thanks
Thank you!
Wow😍
Niesamowite klimaty. Choć Norwegia zawsze mi się kojarzy z surowym klimatem. Twój pies to idealny partner w takich wycieczkach. Idealnie dobrana muzyka oraz kadry sprawiają , że Twój film jest przepiękny.
Thank you!
Thx for this amazing Film, very fantastisch, silent Time, WhatsApp a view❤
Magnifique ^^
Thanks a lot!
Thanks! 😀 from China
❤❤
Amazing video again!!. How good is the Revolution Race Jacket? I wanted to buy one but I get lot of suggestions to go for Marmot. Is RR all wind cheater, gore-tex and warm?
👍👍👍
Nice video, going to Norway for a hiking/roadtrip next week. Which season is this? Also those cabins, do you need reservation/payment to stay there?
Epic!!!!!
Incredible images from Norway!!!😀😀I would like to ask you what drone Are you using?!
A dog is the best company I'm watching you from Greece, keep up the incredible videos!!
Dji mini 3 pro and thank you!
@@YensBastiaensHave you tried it,Mini 4 pro ?!😀😀
What’s the weather to hike that in late October ( like this Friday 27 October ? ). Is it possible to hike or is it deep in snow? great video by the way!!👍
👍😊😊
Great video ! When did you make this trip ? 've made very similar route but in opposite direction Odda - Kinsarvik 2 months ago, but your shots are few levels higher :) what lens and dron are you using ?
I did this early september. Sony 16-35 f4 and mini 3 pro
@@YensBastiaens so do I ! We could have meet on the trail :) Can I ask also what microphone do you use? Do you have some recomendations for shooting in such a windy places like hardangervidda? This is something which is very hard to allieviate in post, so in practise a lot of clips which I made were ruined by the wind. How do you cope with that ?
Loved this video. One of your best. I didn't know you could take Jack. Do you need an animal passport?
Thank you. Jack's got an european passport, rabies vaccin and received a deworming. Why do you like this video more than most of my videos? Is it because I got more variety when it comes to shots/angles?
It's difficult to put a finger on it as I enjoy your style of film making so much with their blend of ground and arial shots edited so well to tell the journey.
Perhaps on this one, it's the location and the footage of you and Jack as one team . I wasn't expecting him to be with you, so it was a pleasant surprise.
The shots of you on the cliff nose towards the end were quite awesome.
Seus vídeos são muito bem elaborados, você mostra as paisagens, e é isso que interessa para quem está assistindo, coloque os mapas de como chegar a esses lugares. Parabéns.
Hey man, how were you able to fly the drone in the zones that aren't open for flying?
How much costs that houses? How I can find them?
Could you tell us in which month you went to hike there? What was the temperature back then?
September
weer een prachtige film, doe zo voort zou ik zeggen.
Heel erg bedankt Eric
Snoot doge is up for new adventures...
⭐♥️😇🌞❣️💗💖💝❤️
is every time you put your camera away from you and then go back??🧐 and record??
What's the name of this hiking trail? It's amazing. Did you go at the end of September? I am looking forward to hearing from you❤(^^)~
Pozdrowienia z polski. Pogłaszcz ode mnie psa 😁
edit: Greetings from Poland. Pet the dog from me 😁
Haha will do
False description, doggo was there too, every step of the way.

Harmen? :)
Beautiful scenery and content.
But, video is so choppy. You need to film at least 60fps.
Anything less it’s really choppy. It’s irritating to watch.
But I’m subscribing your channel hoping better quality smooth videos
Drone footage is a bit choppy due to the fact I didn't know that the drone films in 30 fps and not available in 24fps(new drone). I preferred my camera clips to be smooth over my drone shots since I had to pick
@@YensBastiaens all your effort and content will be worthless if not filmed on proper quality. You’ve to catch up with display devices. TVs and display screens are so fast, and at least 4K.
You can find GoPro just for $300 that films 4K 60p.
Without music it would be better:)
What's the place at 17:00, right before Trolltunga? This rock looks even better!
Preikestolen
@@YensBastiaens Preikestolen is down close to Stavanger, you sure?🤣Its also way bigger
Little preikestolen
Very nice video 👍 I am planning the same hike for coming August, maybe extend 1 more day for Litlos, depending on weather. What time of the year is it in the video? Maybe september? 🤔
