"- We have picture!" 😂 Never gets old
we have picture .. i can't believe
5:50 that's a TANTALUM capacitor. they are polarized and a common failure point.
Why because of heat or mfg defect ?
@@Dicofol1stress from voltage > 5V. It's a known thing. On old IBM PC restorations tantalums often blow up at first power-on and sparks fly.
"NO CAPACITOR NO SHORT" is the next T-shirt trend for you Sorin!
I'm sure Sorin will replace the capacitor, he just says that to mess with us :P
Sorin "the missing capacitor" :))) you have to love this man
I have exactly the same laptop. Now I know exactly what to do when it doesn't turn on -put the screws in a bag and send the laptop to you! 🤣
Sorin is like David Copperfield, make capacitors disappear.
When you're good you're good man. You have a great channel and attitude 🎉🎉🎉💥
Hi Sorin, great job again.... don't worry about replacing or not the capacitor, between to bad thing best the minor, thanks for your experience share bye Francesco Timpano from Florence Italy
Great work Sorin ,as always You fix things on short and secure steps . I hope soon , You will patent your proper calibrated capacitors on fixing things 😂🎉🎉🎉
exactly one patent on "propper calibrated fuse" 😀
Very good work sorin
The power thermal camera and voltage injection tool
The trick with cables is try to keep them twisted then they will be untwisted.
I would have thought that such a big Cap would be replaced...
Is working. We have picture🙂
Sorin Is magician make problem gone to no problem
I knew the New Years resolution wouldn't last.... back to his dodgy old self 😂
nice repair 👍👍👍
Cables have a mind of their own. They always get twisted in the most complicated way possible, to mess with us.
Good job 🎉
6:19 great Sorin. ☺
👍👍du bist einfach der beste😊😊👍👍
Hi Sorin, I hope you will find time in one of your future videos to explain how to identify main power rail. In your videos you just open the laptop and immediately check for shorted main power rail somewhere in the middle of the board. This is not clear to me and perhaps many of your viewers. It is obvious that main power rail will be on the first current resistor (the closest one to the charging port), but how do you know which is main power rail somewhere on the board?
Thank you for all you're doing for the community.
He did explain...Coil, Mosfet, Capacitor.... Shorted. And he said it 5 times in a row.
What i learn from Sorin ,charging port,first mosfet,second mosfet,current sensor...shorted.
sorin been there
Hi congratulations, nice videos!!!!! what model of thermal imaging camera do you have thanks
5:50 between the capacitors is a solder joint connecting two circuits. I find it odd that manufacturers still do this when none of them actually repair boards.
I have one but on the left bottom corner of my laptop broke off when I accidently drop it. I also lost a screw on the top left that hold the bottom cover. I want to know what screw that I need to replace it. I'm scared to disamble my laptop to replace the covers and just want to get the screw. I just have a duck tape cover the small broken corner.
Good job mate 👍
I have an S 14x oled that has the exact same issue. Everyone in my town is afraid to do motherboard repair. How can I send my laptop to you for repair? Im serious.
Rule number one "no capacitor no shorted capacitor".
Rule number two "not every beep is a short" .who will add it
🤗 pictuuuuure 🤗
Hello, what is the thermal camera model?
such a big tantalum cap would be replaced maby
Aveti cumva UN program de verificat vram artefacts la laptop? Cum at fi mats iso?
What model HTI do you use ? 🙂
No Cap no Problems 😅
7:42 I love it i love it jajajajaja++++++
W niektórych wypadkach skręcone przewody są potrzebne. Np. przy pomiarze kondensatorów miernikiem ESR.
Murphy's laws applicable to multimeter leads too...
Please would a 19v5amps laptop survive a 22v5amps adapter??
@@dizzy2020 you've been most helpful sir👍
It didn't look to be charging. If the battery was full it should have showed a full bar but it didn't. Hmm...
Sorin, what is your power supply s limit in amps?
I think its 5 Amps
@@dizzy2020 or use paralel aligned POWER TRANSISTORS in their supply....
Hello ... it's a nice laptop haa. what do you think
А конденсатор то почему не заменил? Конденсатор должен быть обязательно, раз он там стоял. Ну скоро опять сломается значит.
hannstar j mv-4 94v-0 bios bin file Hello, I need Toshiba laptop bios bin file?
A lucky ducky
Hello🤝👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👋👋👋👋
👍👍👌👌
It works without capacitor, that's strange.
That looked like a diode to me with the bar on one side, I would have replaced it with a diode :)
ootyguy9805: mouser electronics, tantalum capacitors, click on images. All the best.
The other electronics “repair” shops need to watch your videos and learn some skills.

6:00 - You should have replaced that capacitor. Customer gets unfinished repair!
Easy 50 pounds 😂😂😂
