I love the pots. Nice flavours and it's always consistent. It's quite a faff with the bags to ensure you get the right proportions of pasta and powder. The only flavour of the bags i enjoy is when have 1 spoon curry and 1 spoon mac n cheez.
That's sort of what I was expecting. Feels like it loses the purpose of taking up less space as well as less packaging than just grabbing a pot noodle at this point (which I know isn't as healthy but I think you get my point) I like the review, I'm looking to buy some hot and savoury and this cemented my decision. Cheers!
I appreciate your honest reviews. Actually, your catalogue of huel reviews was the deciding factor for me to commit last year. I’m diabetic so I use huel for carb and macros management without the stress of meal planning & prepping during the work week. I find adding in extra protein to the hot and savory meals levels them up enough to keep it interesting. As I’m American, our varieties are slightly different- we don’t have the carbonara yet and we have 3 choices on cup noodles- where the UK is more leaning on Indian and East Asian curries, the k-wave is in full force here so we have a spicy gochujang noodle and Korean BBQ noodle along with a chick’n Alfredo pasta. I was questioning their value and probably won’t order outside of being a treat (if the flavors are decent once I do try them) based on your findings. I appreciate the concept of a different style of noodle than the penne in the bags but the cost doesn’t seem worth it for that indulgence.
I have the huel shake powder or hot meals when I'm working. I tried the fire5y chicken pot and was impressed by how substantial the meal felt. Much better than other noodles which feel more like snacks.
I guess these are better in terms of consistently having the correct ratio of "bits" and flavour, and I suppose most will just toss it after it's finished, rather than having to carry the potentially leaky plastic cup around to wash at home. Otherwise I agree, I don't really see any other benefit over buying the bags.
Thank youuu for this review, think it was really good and gave me a real nice idea of what to sort of expect from huel! Answered some questions I had hehe. :)
The convenience of the ready made Huel wins out for me over the powder. They just taste better also imo. But for these. It'd be much easier, have better insulation & less of a worry about it bursting open by just using the Hot & Savoury black pots with the screw on lid. They need some tweaking.
Great video and thanks for the review! I think the reason behind the instant cups are for convenience. For example, I’m looking into them because I can just take a cup with me to work and prepare it in the break room. God bless!
I eat huel instant meals They are tasty for diet food, and you know the calories One scoop200 Two scoops 400 They are better in microwave and left for 7 minutes, Enjoyed watching
I loved the spicy one, but agree, why the pot? Id have it in the standard bag any time, I wonder if its an issue of the distribution of calories....as in getting the right amount of those pretend meat pillows in them.
I’ve switched to Jimmy joy for the instant pot meals, they’re cheaper, just as good nutritionally and delicious. Huel is still better with their drinks though
@@Narutocoolcat Because my comment, whether you deem it offensive, actualy offered a practical suggestion. Whereas the individual you are D riding does nothing more than make a useless moral judgment. Just like your comment. LOL!

Exactly - if there was a genuine reason for these over the regular ones, then fine, but I can’t work it out!

Cracking up on your comment about the lines not lining up on the outside of the cup. That would bother me too!
I use to mix both of them, makes it more pleasant.
How about start reviewing different combinations of Huel products?
Great video

Lol I can poop 2 pounds every day...
So... they are crap.
Meh. Tried a few flavours. All awful, bland and tasteless. Back to sandwiches
Hey genius, you can create chapters for your videos.
You do know you can suggest something without being rude for no reason, right?
@@headerahelix Or you do know you could mind your own mfing business, right?
@@greengorilla Why should he mind his own business when you commented first on the video. Therefore not following your own advice.
