Und eine frühe Beeinflussung... Leider wird Bossa Nova oftmals als "Fahrstuhl-Musik" abgetan.... Das ist Schade. Aber die "Masse" hört nun mal leider eher Heavy Metal oder Rap/Hip Hop... Dann gibt es ja noch die klassische Musik. Das wird ja auch nur von einer Minderheit gehört...😉👍

Bossa Nova started in my life with the Girl from Ipanema. As a young child in Philly didn't know who Jobim or what Bossa Nova was. Just loved this song unconditionally. However, I really got deep into Bossa Nova in my early 30s after falling in love with salsa & mambo, which made fall in love with international music & songs from Brazil. I then realized I been listening to a lot of Bossa Nova songs through jazz artists & then Sergio Mendes as a young child for years. All in all, it was natural to fall in love with Bossa Nova for life for it was already in pysche & soul through others who made me love it!❤
This is music to enjoy life by. Pandemic or not listening to this music is an opportunity to close your eyes while sitting in a club drinking a caipirinha when in fact you’re stuck someplace that you cannot get away from.
