I am from Puerto Rico. Bossa Nova Is a beautifull músic. I like it since I was a kid. Is relaxing. The musicians must know their instrument very good to play Bossa Nova. Especially the guitar. I really enjoy this. And this singer have a very beautifull and distintive voice.

I only heard of Nova recently and listened to her video of singing Jobim's Dindi. I was floored it was so good. Her vocals show great expression and emotion and are so real. So, here I am checking out this collection. Great listening. If Astrud Gilberto didn't do Ipanema, Nova could've easily recorded it with Stan Getz and had the iconic song as hers. As If that's not enough praise, I also love her "look." 🥰

I've listening to Ms. Nova, Ms. Motis, those amazing jazz bossa nova students led by the Chamorro ensemble, and the other small ensembles. I feel as if I were coming back home to the 60's, when Stan Getz's rendition of Girl from Ipanema and whomever it whose cut of Desafinado was filling the air with light. Happy to hear it now again. It's really never gone away. Turn off the rap "music" and turn up the melody.
