Hi Tiny Pine, loved this one, very British inclement weather, lovely scenery even at that time of the year. Looking forward to the next one 👍. Cheers Glyn.
Thanks Glyn, glad you enjoyed it! Haha yeah, as annoying as rain can sometimes be on a hiking trip I think it adds a nice atmospheric element, as long as you keep dry enough to enjoy it 😂
@@Orenjen Thank you for sharing another wonderful part of your journey. Really feels like I'm there with your footage. Great work, I hope its not too long until the next episode..
Actually rating your campsites is an excellent idea, I think a hiker/backpackers perspective would be really helpful. I really enjoy your videos and laid-back commentary, just a pleasure to watch
Such a lovely ramble around Ullswater, Jennifer 😊 That hotel was spooky with no-one to greet you - in my mind I was screaming, Jennifer NOOOOOO!!!😱😱 It was like you'd walked through a portal into someone's home 200 years ago. I do like the look and feel, for historical immersion, but it can easily get spooky. That camping spot overlooking the lake was magical. I've never seen a red squirrel, but follow photographer @DaniConnorWild who loves them. (The solution for their survival is simple and available - genetic modification of the greys via drugged food, so that they produce only males, which switches off after a set number of generations) 😂 at the "Dogs" sign - outside - Lowther Barn. Farmers, eh!? ya out trolled the sheep bridge troll 😄 (shame that it slipped)
Haha, yeah it was super creepy! Pretty cool though I’d like to visit it again when it’s open and running to see if the haunted vibe is still there 😂 I so wish I got the interaction with the man on camera, the way he said “nowhere is open” was so eerie 😂 I’ll check that photographer out, I’ve seen quite a few red squirrels in my time, I love them 😁 That sheep was so cute, I wish they wouldn’t get startled like that 😅
You must have webbed feet after this section Jennifer. Always carry some tenacious tape for kit repairs. I keep some in my first aid kit. Happy hiking 🥾
Haha I know, I don’t think they really do healthy options there, or at least not when I went, a veggie burger & chips was the most nutritious option believe it or not 😂
Why do people take things from places that are there for other people to enjoy, IE the poetry stones, love watching your videos so chills me out...Need to get back up to the lakes this year a few times and get some walks in, Beats being stuck in doors
Thank you, was supposed to be up yesterday but was issues with TH-cam & their video processing, I’m on the Great Glen Way at the moment so I won’t be able to re upload until (hopefully) Wednesday ☺️
I love creative, sensitive people 💚
😁
