The Ullswater Way - Spring 2023: Day 3

- Day 3 on my multi-day solo hiking & camping journey on the Ullswater Way!
In this video, you'll see me hike from Gillside Farm to The Quiet Site.
On this journey I encounter several funny animals, I cross through Aira Force to see the powerful, rushing waterfalls after all the heavy Spring rain we'd been getting, and as I make higher ground after Aira Force, I'm met with some of the best views on the entire journey; Ullswater in all its striking beauty.
I discuss a fair bit behind the camera, from the hike itself to more deeper, slightly heavier topics, though nothing too melancholic to contrast with the vitalising tone of the video.
Thank you for all of your kind words and support so far!!
Days 4 & 5 (including my 'rest day') will be up this Sunday!

Thank you to everyone watching, I appreciate each and every one of you!

Also, my brother and I hiked Hadrian’s Wall to raise money for Mind, we got 55 miles in before we were forced to cut it short due to food poisoning from an Inn we stayed in! We're better now, and will continue the walk soon, so if you’d like to donate and support us I’ll add the link below! It’d mean so much, and for a good cause!

Good to see your video back on
Hi Thank for a another great video. Please keep making them. I hope to follow in your foot steps.
That’s so kind of you and means so much to me!☺️
Atmospheric 😊
I love veils of mist morphing through the air currents too
(great whistle btw!)
The mist & clouds are stunning, I love a good moody sky 😁
YAAAAAAAAY. Another fabulous village. Helping me feel the emotions I get when I get to go there.
I hope you have a lovely time when you get to go, how long until you do?
@@Orenjen literally last night I booked a week in May. So it’s a long time. Luckily I have these fantastic videos to keep me going until then.
@@chrislang7460 oh that's amazing! May is such a lovely time for it:)
@@Orenjen it’s my favourite. Not too hot for my dogs, not too cold for me, usually decent weather. Fingers crossed
I love how open and honest you are about how you will be feeling . I enjoyed this one 👍
Thank you Mary 😁
I enjoy your TH-cam channel.
However, I prefer steadier camera work.
I'm glad you enjoy the channel, and I understand that, but I'm afraid that sometimes I'm paying more attention to hiking rather than holding my camera totally steady (I don't have any gyro/gimbal equipment at the moment, that stuff's expensive!) but I'll work on it 😊
So lovely. Watched this after a stressful day and its calmed me and given me perspective. Thank you Jen!
I'm sorry to hear about your stressful day, but I'm glad you found that my video made you feel a bit better, that makes me so happy!
oh, and the next instalment of this trip is up this Sunday, and in that one I answer the questions from the Q&A post I made earlier this year if you remember.
There'll be another Q&A post that I'll make following that video's release and I'll of course answer them on my next trip's film (though that one won't be up for yet another 5 or so months like this one), in case you have any other questions/queries/anything to say or whatever, about anything! But again, I'll make a post for this on Sunday. :D
