What are you talking about? WWF in the 80's was still pretending wrestling is real. They would have never had a musical number in the middle of their show.
@@darkmarv8045 But I said nothing about serious. Just because there's someone in a turkey suit on your show doesn't mean you're 100% admitting your show is scripted. Real sports have mascots running around, they have a lot of silly stuff happening throughout their events but that doesn't take away from the sport being real. So no, a turkey suit is not quite in line with a segment that goes from people having a dinner and breaking into dance and song in the middle of it. One of those things is a silly sports mascot thing, one of them is a fictional TV show scene.
@@darkmarv8045 First of all, you're talking about the 90's. That's when they started doing all this supernatural crap but even then they were very protective of kayfabe so yes, they were still trying to pretend it's real. I laughed so hard when mjf and Jericho just dropped those girls while dancing with em it was so random and unexpected
I guess these were wrestlers who knew how to take a bump.
@@eljanrimsa5843 maybe but still was funny sry I didn’t respond earlier btw

This dynamite has been truly incredible so far. One of the best in recent memory, IMO. Been thoroughly entertained.
MJF is the absolute future of this industry...
MJF showing off his theater side lol I almost forgot he used to do opera lol
Well you just answered the one question I had... if MJF was actually singing.
@@danielj7129 Yup! That's his real voice lol He has a theater background. He was on the rosie o'donnell show when he was 5 years old and she asked him if he wanted to do opera, or wrestling...and well we all know what he chose lol
I like how mjf points at jericho when he says "my shadow". The betrayal is brewing.
Can't wait for them to build up a Lovable friendship and then watch MJF betray Jericho....the build up is on!!
is this the closest we're getting to live action family guy?

Jim Cornette is going to need a local medical facility after watching this
where he will be looked over by medical professionals
I wouldn't be surprise if they did this just to majorly trigger him
And the other fat guy with him is going to agree with whatever he says smh
The awkward moment when you like both AEW and Corny, also true. 😂
Jim High Blood Pressure Cornette
It reminds me the episode of family guy lol 😂 With Brian and Stewie
WHY DO PEOPLE HATE THIS HUH?
WRESTLING IS ABOUT HAVING FUN
AND THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I HAD AFTER WATCHING THIS
This literally has nothing to do with wrestling.
@@johnjames5405 oh my hater this is professional wrestling not wrestling you are supposed to have this
Like the wallpaper sticks to the wall
Like the seashore clings to the sea
Like you'll never get rid of your shadow
Chris, you'll never get rid of me
Let all the others fight and fuss
Whatever happens, we've got us.
Me and my shadow
We're closer than pages that stick in a book
We're closer than ripples that play in a brook
Strolling down the avenue
Wherever you find him, you'll find me, just look
Closer than a recliner thrown at Matt Hardy's forehead guizer
Me and my shadow
We're closer than snakes how they slide through the grass
We're closer than Cody is to a jackass
Not a soul can bust this team in two
We stick together like glue
And when it's sleeping time
That's when we rise
We start to swing
Swing to the skies
Our clocks don't chime
What a surprise
They ring-a-ding-ding!
Happy New Year!
Me and my shadow
And now to repeat what I said at the start
You'll need a large crowbar to break us apart
We're alone but far from blue
Before we get finished, we'll make the town roar
We'll make all the late spots, and then a few more
We'll wind up at Daily's and then the fourth floor
Life is gonna be we-wow-whee!
For my shadow and me!
Say Chris?
What is it, Maxwell?
Do me a favor?
What do you want, now?
Would you mind taking it, just one more time?
From the top?
No! From the ending!
Wonderful!
And while we are swinging, to mention a few
We'll drop in at Chili's, Hey Young Bucks screw You
We'll beat up on Moxley, whatever we do
(Wow!)
Life is gonna be we-wow-whee!
For my shadow and me!

I'd love to of been in the office of tony Khan when Jericho pitched this Tony and MJF!!
The audacity for AEW to do this in 2020, when something like this would of happened in WWF in the 80’s. The way they pulled this off is amazing
What are you talking about? WWF in the 80's was still pretending wrestling is real. They would have never had a musical number in the middle of their show.
@@MinimiMax Go watch the 1987 Slammys, they did not act like it was serious.
@@darkmarv8045 There's a difference between real and serious. Everything in real life is not always serious.
And when it comes to the Gobbledy Gooker, he was obviously a person in a costume. Even if it was a gimmick, they were never going to claim it's a real animal. It was a person in a costume, therefor it was a mascot. This also happened in 1990. That is not the 80's the last time I checked.
Can we all just praise how good MJF is at singing. We all knew Chris could sing, but MJF did incredible
@@austinha11 I mean he does a fine job in this segment. Singing Rat Pack stuff isn't the most complicated stuff but he carried his part, the only ropey bits were when they went "wee wa wee".

Sammy gonna have a rap battle with mjf on his vlog😂
@@joyfk4127 can't wait to see it. 🤣
I mean... they are the ones that sung chris's theme song together once upon time.
MJF’s flirting with the Inner Circle is going to end up in one of two ways:
- MJF stabs Jericho in the back and takes full control of the Inner Circle
- MJF becomes the Inner Circle’s golden boy, replaces Sammy Guevara in Le Sex Gods, and the entire Inner Circle (w/Wardlow) jump Guevara. Sammy then turns babyface with Matt Hardy & Private Party coming to his aid.

To quote John Oliver, wrestling is better than that thing you like.

Probably gonna be on Talk Is Jericho!
The greatest segment in professional wrestling in the year of our lord 2020.
Why I'll never stop being a fan of the business. Stuff like this is what makes pro wrestling the art form it is. Push the boundries. Maybe it lands, maybe it doesn't. But the the genre provides platform like no other to try unique things. Bravo.
