MJF is incredibly smart , hes a true student of the game that knows his shi(history, lore, mechanics, business side,). to add on to your point , i like how also called out the twitter fanbase & smarks. For those of you thinking of trying wrestling, he's not exaggerating about the pain. I can remember on my very first day of training, driving 4 hours to the gym to spend 3 hours in the ring learning how to run the ropes and take a few front and back bumps. I was tired but felt relatively fine when we were done. Drove halfway home and stopped at a gas station to get a drink and a snack and holy crap I couldn't get out of the car. Every joint and muscle in my body has seized up from being in that sitting position and I felt like I had been in a car accident. The pain is real for sure. I've never done it, but my best friend did local wrestling for about 7 years and he tells me he felt like an 80 year old man every day, and always having trouble simply getting out of bed every day. He had to stop because his body just couldn't take it anymore. Really sucks about your leg man, but at least bones can (mostly) heal. Hope you're doing good and are no longer in pain.
@@709mash Thanks. Yeah it was a nasty break. First doctor that saw me wanted to fuse my ankle in one position, he said I'd have to walk with a cane the rest of my life, and this was when I was 20 years old. So that ended any dreams involving athletics because I simply can't run anymore. 6 months to heal after the surgeries, another couple months of rehab and learning how to walk again. Then a full year before I could walk without limping. My right calf muscle had completely atrophied and even after all the rehab it still looks smaller than my left calf. 25 years later and it still bugs me from time to time but that's just arthritis which comes with healed broken bones. Love how you incorporate a little interview with these sessions
Love how down to earth MJF is outside the ring. Now if we get the Doc to work on Mr CHUGS, aka Adam Cole, with MJF watching and laughing? That'll get some laughter, I guarantee it.
I didn't think I could like MJF more. Kid is great
I do appreciate that he ackowledges Chris Benoit's talent in ring while keeping the things he did to his family seperate from each other. He's treating him better than WWE ever will.
0:16 i love it when he says this
I have never laughed so hard within the first five seconds of a video. This will be great
being a student of the game is the reason why he is so good, smart guy
Best guest yet. Love this collab
🙏🙏
MJF is just... supernatural almost. When his career is done, he will be more than just no 1 on the mic.
nice buddy now zip it😭
