      Analog works fine for digital just fine. It's just 1's and 0's.
      Sounds just as good

    I don't understand what makes something a digital application versus an analog. Which one do I use to connect an amp to a pre out or a receiver to a subwoofer?

      Digital is playing back your music. Think of your computer or your TV playing music. The digital output of your TV goes to at DAC (Digital to Analog Converter) where it becomes an analog signal that is sent to your Pre-amp. From the Pre-amp to the amp is pure analog.

      ​@@moon-audio what is the impedance of the DACs RCA conection ? How about a cd player RCA conection ? So does it actually matter. Your ears are better than measurements, you sure. So if that's true could 60 ohms or 57 ohms sound better.
