Nice Bike.I have a Brixton Cromwell 250,its nearly the same,i think.Low-Budget Bikes from China, but not really bad.... iam very happy with my little China-Girl😏greetings from Germany.
The carburetor on this bike is a good carburetor, the accelerator pump really helps it, kind of gives it a nostalgia. But I know what you mean about efi. Thanks for watching
appreciate these videos my late grandfather who I barley knew was a hells angles member and yet here i am learning the ins and out of motorcycles from you lol i got my mirrors in the mail before the Bike showed up and im glad i did cause the old ones was no good for much . question what do you think about riding these bike on dirt this is my first bike and i dont want to cluster myself in the over populated city streets to hard right off the bat let me know thanks
Hello Tony, congratulations on your new bike! I agree about the mirrors. Even though the tires on this bike looks like it can go on the dirt, it’s made mostly for the street with some ability to ride on country dirt or rock roads. I wouldn’t take it off-road very much. Maybe gentle riding just to become familiar with the bike. Good luck with it, let me know if I can help with anything
Herbie, Thanks for this Professional grade vid. 🎉. I have drove Vince at Venom crazy with ?s I was getting ready to buy the KPM 200 today and saw ur video. I totally prefer the look and stance of the Ghost more, but wanted the efi and 6 spd. But now after seeing you put her together I really feel like it's the one. Is the whole carb thing for a guy with descent mech skills. I really just want a reliable small cc cruiser but not a $6k rebel. Should I go for the Ghost. I'd hare to regret it lol.
Lee, motorcycles are like shoes sometimes, what fits one doesn’t fit the other, that’s why there is so many different models of bikes. The ghost is a great bike and I love mine although I don’t have a lot of miles on it yet. I will be getting a KPM 200 around income tax time, March or April and at some point I will do a comparison and contrast video of the ghost and KPM since they are similar. Whatever you decide to buy, I hope it is a great bike for you.
@@cmax2484 You can get it either way. If you want Venom to assemble it then it will cost extra, I think it’s $300 but you might want to check with them first. Assembly isn’t really that hard but if you don’t have tools or mechanical ability then that might be an issue.
Hi Rebecca, This is a link to what I do for breaking in my bikes and I'm on my Ghost chopper. I do 2 idling heat cycles first. Which means. you start the bike up and let it idle until it gets to operating temperature. Shut it off and let it cool down. Then restart it and let it idle until it gets to operating temperature again, let it cool down again. Then your ready to ride, I do 35 miles of lots of up and down shifting and always very the throttle. No constant throttle and keep it below 6000-7000 rpm. Then after the 35miles come home and change your oil and clean the screen, after that you are good for around 500 miles. Change your oil again and then you are ready to go and change your oil at whatever number of miles suits you but don't go over 1500-2000 without changing it. th-cam.com/video/DfTPtayLHcY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=nN83PiLuGSTDn5N8
Could you tell me what battery is in the bike? The battery they sent me appears to not fit. I’m waiting to hear back from them but would like to get it fired up and tested. Looks like yours came pre installed
Hello Josh, my battery didn’t come pre installed but it was prefilled, I just had to mount it in the bike. This is what battery it came with MG7-A-C 12v 8ah
Thank you very much! Sounds like I got the right battery. I swear I watched this video a couple times but never spotted it. I was confused since, at least on mine, with the battery installed the plastic retaining bracket doesn’t screw flush to the frame mounts. I can jam in it in but just didn’t seem like there was enough room
@@herbiesgarage681 they have been really responsive so far, so hopefully they get me sorted soon. I only got it just yesterday. I’d share the video with you but it’s set to private and I want to give them a chance to help me out. Thanks for the quick responses!
@@londyngates Mine does good on the highway. I changed the rear sprocket to give it more speed and had to rejet the carburetor for a little better performance. Really not a big deal to make those mods. The Lifan KPM 200 would make a great first bike as well, and it’s fuel injected, water cooled and 6 speeds. It does really good on the highway without any modifications really. Good luck on your decision though

Hello Stephen, no, I didn’t buy it from directly from China because the costs of everything is so high and it requires so much to get it into the country. Buying from a company like I did which is venommotorsportsusa.com makes it so much easier. Because they buy in volume they can import and keep costs down. Also if you have any warranty issues venom can and will take care of it which is a big plus. I tried many years ago to import a single bike and it was rediculous and became expensive because of the insurance needed for safe passage. Do yourself a favor and contact Venom and save a lot of the headache and have some warranty protection as well.

Hello Gerald, yes they are tubeless tires, I think about the only tires that have tubes anymore are on spoke wheels for the obvious reasons of being able to seal it from leaks.
@@herbiesgarage681 Thanks. Appreciate your response. I'm going to order one. But there is no reason why you can't make wire spoke wheels that work with tubeless tires.
