You’re welcome! Im glad you found the video helpful. The new black color looks pretty slick, doesn’t it? I ended up returning it and kept the tomtoc t33. I hope tomtoc adopts the self cinching removable straps in their future releases. Or bellroy changes their strap material.
I recommend Alpaka! I also wanted to buy this bag but after seeing it in person, I knew it wasn't the right product for me. So I opted for Alpaka instead, cheaper, higher quality materials, and better aesthetic.
i wish you did the fit comparison. i would have loved to seen how your gears fit in tomtoc, because that's just about how much gear i carry as well. how does your fujifilm camera fit in the tomtoc? does it leave enough room for a phone and a wallet after camera?
I'm able to fit my cellphone, a stick sunscreen, a few lip balls and a roll of mints , and sometimes a pen in the front pocket. The trick for getting my cellphone easily in and out of the pocket is to hold on to the material of one of the smaller pockets as I slip the phone in or out. The material is very stretchy so I call pull the fabric up and out of the bag by about an inch or more. Give that a try next time you're wearing the bag. It made the bag very usable for me. I have both the 6L (for EDC and domestic travel) and 9L (for international travel).
@@jmunnie00 i just reviewed a new bag that is like the venture sling but more usable. The toshi bag. I prefer it to the venture. 5.5 liter but stores more than the venture. has some thoughtful features added to it.
Thank you! You're the first to post a video on the updated Venture 6 in the new "Black" color.

how is the padding here ..for camera ?
Both the bell Roy and the t33 are pretty good. The bellroy has more padding
I own the Navy 6L, and the front compartment is nearly unusable with how tight it opens
Yah I am not a fan, especially for the price tag. I wanted to like it since it got so many glowing reviews but I ended up returning it
Yep this has been a huge challenge with Bellroy for me
