LOVE two things. A) the intense in depth review B) that you're bringing a much needed female perspective to this space! Thanks for starting this channel. Really looking forward to more from you
I think, being totally honest, a lot of the reviews of these bags are basically adverts. Bellroy and other bags manufacturers have paid a lot of channels, usually male fronted, to push these 'sling' bags to people that wouldn't carry a little bag if it was called a purse etc.
For the strap material, you probably got the previous black version, I got the new black version which has a better strap material and the logo is blacked out as well as the zipper pulls. The version you've got has greyish logo and zipper pulls. I really love this bag but it's indeed sometimes a fashion statement because I have more practical slings which fit more stuff and have better organization and usability but this thing is really good if you get used to it. It's a personal choice to get this because it's not cheap, I got it on sale and I'm happy I have it because I'm a bag nerd so I love to test them with my own hands and wander for some weeks with them before choosing to keep them or sell them. This was a keeper.
Agree with your review! It’s a recognizable brand, some status symbol and a fashionable stylish bag. That’s all. Durability, functionality, compartments are all secondary. Can we have links for the other comparable bags also?
Thank you for the volume measurement. I got this sling recently and yeah I was surprised at how small it was. I can't fit an A5 notebook in it :/ This bag is still one that checked the most important boxes for me in the 4-6L size, apart from the Chimera version of this bag which is obscenely expensive and no longer available. Side note. Only the navy colour afaik has the smooth strap, whereas all the other colours have the super textured one.
Looks perfect to carry phone, keys, purse, tissues, little bottle of deodorant or perfume, some gum and Chapstick. Reminds me of an old fashioned purse / handbag, but in a modern design to sell as unisex.
@@nicolasmorgan9418 I own the 6l PD everyday sling and it is substantially larger than even this 6L venture so I would assume the volume of the 3l would be on par or even a bit more than the venture
@EmeraldsDailyCarry noted on this one, btw can I have a question? is an iPad Mini 6 or Lenovo Y700 fits? because according to your actual dimensions test it can accommodate such size like that one.
You know that’s what I thought as well maybe but I double checked my receipt and it says nightsky 🤷♀️ it definitely looks way darker in person than in the product images.
@@EmeraldsDailyCarry I think they just made a mistake. Only the midnight version has this type of strap which is discontinued. Now all the color model share the same seatbelt strap.
Agree, i had the night sky and i can confirm it was definitely navy and did come with the more seatbelt type strap. Clever and interesting review though. Thanks
For such a new channel, your production is so polished! Looking forward to watching this one grow.
Dude thanks for recognizing! It takes a lot of work lol but I’m happy that you found the info useful!

hopefully we can provide honest reviews with real world testing 🤞
This is incredible, a significant level above other sling reviews. Appreciate the detail and fresh perspectives! 🙌

Thanks for the detailed explanation. Sounds like I got gypped but good to know there are improvements in the new version!
Great review. Informative in detail and great choice of words

Great review and well produced!
Thank you!!
Using the bean is very interesting idea.

Very unique and interesting review compared to others. Love ya scoring system aspects. Wish u can do a review for the alpaka bravo sling.

Best review out there :0 please do one on the 7L lite sling also!

@@NaoKeysVT it looks deceiving from the photos for sure. But in reality I can never hold half the stuff I want in this sling.
@@NaoKeysVT oh good to know about the Navy. I think it’s an odd choice to have different materials for different colors but what do I know 🤷♀️
Wow! I have also found Belroy to overstate their capacity!
Yeah, I’m not sure if they’re measuring it based on the exterior dimensions 🤔
Grat video! Would love to see the Peak Design outdoor slings
If I can get my hands on one you know I will!
Nice review! Curious to know what you'd make of the new Toshi Sling 5L
Oo I haven’t heard of this bag but just looking at the product landing page definitely has me curious. 👀
Looks perfect to carry phone, keys, purse, tissues, little bottle of deodorant or perfume, some gum and Chapstick.
Reminds me of an old fashioned purse / handbag, but in a modern design to sell as unisex.
yeah, def just for the little things. a glorified man purse.
Do you know how it compares volume wise to the peak design 3l everyday sling?
@@nicolasmorgan9418 I own the 6l PD everyday sling and it is substantially larger than even this 6L venture so I would assume the volume of the 3l would be on par or even a bit more than the venture
woah! it is nice to know that the branding is easily peel off. I don't like brand names in the front. keep it unknown to others.. 😆
You can take it off with a blow dryer I believe. It’s just heat treated on there.
