Hi, I see how you did yours. When I did mine I was afraid of going backwards and braking my neck but once I got over my fear I just did it and was so shocked. I am still working on it to get the hang of it and continuing my tumbling skills. (:
it is a great way to Lear back handsprings the less dangerous/scary way. some people learn it starting from standing which never worked for me. thanks for teaching me this method!
Props for learning it in 3 days! You're braver than I am! Try to keep your arms straight when you land, because when you bend you lose a lot of power and that is why you were getting stuck at the top there :) you fixed that quite a bit between each bhs, so that might not even be a problem anymore, haha. Also to make it more smooth try to do it in one motion and keep your heels together! Good job :)
This applies for everything, If you tumble on your toes it's easier. Tumbling flat footed makes your skills of lower quality. I was taught this at cheer where I got my back tuck, and if you're trying to learn tucks tumbling on your toes will also help LOADS! But good job, it's awesome to see what others can do.
I cant even practice if one person is watching me but theres a whole frickin classroom watching u and ur acting like everythings fine. High level of confidence
The very first movement, on his first day, is actually more difficult of the back handspring itself, even if it might not seem so. Try it and let me know! I think this looks viable only because he probably was able to do the back handspring already. Just my opinion, based on experience.
Cartwheel and macaco and kip up but I couldn't do a macaco or a kip up when I learned it but it helps, and make shur you jump at a 45 degree angle and look back after your arms get straight back, I learned it at home and some people say that mine look as good as a gymnasts, back handspring.
after watching this I decided to learn it the way you did on a mattress. it really works. I'm on my second day and it's the same as your second day :)
It is a #different" way of approaching BHS learning!CONGRATULATIONS
Wow nice bro this is my favourite stunt back handspring
Your style of doing a backhandspring in the 2 day looks very fantastic.

The reason you kept landing on you head is because you weren’t jumping high enough
same bro
You need to keep your arms straight and not bent so you don't hurt yourself
0:03
Don't land on your neck
He's not doing a back handspring he keeps purposely stopping at his head!
Cherrie Skye Duh, he's training idiot
Omg cherrie , he was training alone, he did a good work
don't bend your ARMS
yes this is cool, but guys PLEASE do not try and learn a back handspring like this. There are much better and safer ways to learn
U were starting off wrong, that was the problem
it is too slow
I was so excited when he finally did it and didn’t hit his head
So awesome that you taught yourself that!
