HEY FRIENDS! Today I am sharing day 8 of classroom setup! I was able to finish most of my bulletin boards, get my first scholastic order of the year, and share some of the amazing things donated to my classroom! I really love how well it is coming along and can't wait to get back in there to keep working on it! I hope you enjoy watching and I will see you soon!

Love your classroom setup series, if you cut you’re letter shapes first you wouldn’t need as many laminating sheets just a wee tip.

Laminators have come a long way. I remember when the laminators were large and were like sandwiche presses. You had to put your work inside the machine and then you pressed down and waited. You are so blessed to have many people out there to support you. Never forget how far you have come. Take care.

Sometimes I wish I was still an elementary teacher! Your space is so practical and full of color. It looks like you have some great plans for next year. Looking forward to seeing how it goes! My middle school classroom turned out pretty well this year, kinda similar to yours, practical and put together. I filmed classroom set up videos too! Love looking back on the process!
Good Luck with your new classroom. I love the amazon laminate as well. Quick tip when laminating pieces, use a small amount of glue to hold the pieces in place. That way when you feed it into the machine your pieces can't slide around.

Hi! Yay! Student teaching is the best! I didn’t have one during student teaching and didn’t really feel like I needed one! Just my experience though!
Do you have the David Shannon books??? Those are THE BEST for the beginning of kinder. I always did a David Shannon unit right away when I taught kinder!

Your room looks very pretty. The kids are going to love it! Are you going to have a paraprofessional? (Teacher's aide) There is a you tube channel where kids books are read aloud. You could project it on your board and have the kids watch. It is called Happy Cultivated.
