I think the beaker isn’t really that sensitive, though, from looking at it. It’s a better shot than using the corpse for blood though, might as well try that.
I do think this was the easiest one to beat. The first challenge, everyone back up but one person, then run to the box smash the key and then rush back so the others can go. Unlock your key and while someone else is up at the front, probably got their key while you are unlocking it, you can bust out the other boxes while player 3 gets their keys, 3 frees themselves while you and 2 have saved 4 and 5. Easy. That one honestly was so obvious that I was mad they didn't think of it.
For the trap with the 5 keys in the glass boxes: If you think about it, its pretty logical that they all are the same key. Different keys would mean different locks, so how would they know which key is the right one to their lock? Jigsaw had to make all keys the same, otherwise the trap wouldn’t have worked. At least, I think so.
Their instincts told them it was the survival of the fittest. And since they were familiar with Jigsaw, they knew a lot of his games required the sacrifice of 1 to save the other. But a logical person should've maybe thought to have 1 or 2 people break the other boxes for the keys. When the first got his key, he could've broken 2 other keys and brought them back to people in the same time it would take a 2nd collared person to reach their key and smash the remaining box to bring to the final person.
Don't forget their character flaws -- the reason that they're in the trap to begin with is that thanks to their individual selfish actions, as a collective, they lead an apartment building to burn to the ground with people still inside. They're not poised to think collaboratively.

Regarding Strahm getting caught in the trap at the start, one thing about "listening to Jigsaw" is that, at that point, that tape and ambush was probably set up by Hoffman, who has no regard for keeping his word or playing by the rules. You can see that in the first trap of the movie where Seth did what he was supposed to do, but Hoffman still killed him. Not to mention, who's to say the glass coffin wasn't trapped as well; after all, what reason would he have to let Strahm live who had solved the mystery and found evidence about his involvement.
What I don't get is, why survivors don't take the bodies with them. There is a tonne of useful stuff on them that could be used, the body for weight, blood for liquids, clothes for making a makeshift rope etc... yes it's gruesome but it works and they had a whole 10 minutes to get out of there meaning they could have scavenged as much as they could have within those 10 minutes!

heres my thing about the glass box trap,, i think it was a lose-lose situation for strahm. because if he would've gotten in that box, hoffman would've just been waiting in the room below to kill him. at that point, strahm knew who hoffman was and that alone is enough to know that hoffman wouldn't have let him walk away from that trap
It's obvious though that Hoffman was lying. Suppose Strohm would get in the glass box. What would Hoffman do? Walk in, and get squished himself? Nope. Watch the box sink into the floor and the walls close in, to then release Strohm and say 'Fair enough, you win'? Nope. His plan was always to blame Strohm for being Jigsaw 2.0 and then make him disappear forever, either by squishing him using the walls, or by leaving him in the glass box and throwing away the key, presumably telling the FBI that Strohm must have ran away and that he would be out the country by now. Strohm never had a chance surviving the last puzzle, it wasn't a puzzle, it was an execution.
So one thing I would have also done is smash the Nail bombs and disabling them as a threat, thus giving us time to calm down and reassess things before heading into the next challenge. After all those bombs were mostly made of glass so they shouldn't be too difficult to destroy.
Except for the first room, each other also had an auto door. Whitch means if it isnt completed - it also shuts it. As for me - being killed by a nailbomb in seconds is far better than dying for 2 weeks in a hidden dark room, without water, food, and possibly, air.

the last challenge was certainly still possible with only 2 people and id argue even with a single person. the cages have many holes in them, meaning throwing fluids through the grate is possible. it does not need to be blood, it only needs to be any kind of fluid. or even throwing a solid object into the water would cause the level to rise, since it is only the water level that matters. with that knowledge, simply vomiting and throwing up into the containers would lead to both of them surviving without shedding a single drop of blood.

Best case scenario, Brit and Mallick would still have to give some of their own blood (albeit a bit less). Worst case scenario, it doesn’t work at all and they end up wasting time.
Fr me and the boys reran the series and thought up ways we would beat it and thats what I said lol, why not just pee in the jar. Unless he is watching you then how the machine gonna know
In the first trap the first person to get the key could have just broken every box and given each person their own key since they weren’t restricted by the trap anymore (I understand one key would open all of their locks but they didn’t have that information at the time)
ohhhhhhhhh, I just realized what the information at the end meant. They all thought that their key was unique to only their box, therefore they thought of no other solutions. I mean there was still another one which I see me and other commentors thought of.
the 5 person game was among one of the easiest to beat and survive you forgot to mention that in the first room, the leather straps around their necks could have easily been cut through by the huge razor blades on the wall for the nail bombs, just rip off the cables and it wont explode
32:00 What amazing fortune! You can see that the next trap requires more blood than you can comfortably give, alone, but the doors haven't closed and the countdown hasn't started... Go back and collect a corpse or two...
27:46 from what i saw the door to the last chamber was also open. So they could of went through and grabbed one of the dead bodies and used those instead of sacrificing someone from the survivors. One of the dead bodies should of been just enough to get the door open.
urine is a conductive fluid. Jigsaw not accounting for this or hoping squeemishness will cause people to literally die before they pee on the floor or in a jar in front of someone is not Jigsaw's style of rational. It really shows the quality of the franchise dropping.
Moral of the story?:Don't be selfish. Also, he could've just survived the trap if he either got the hell out of there or just gently entered the glass cage cuz atleast I'd be protected. But the other person tho? Well, I'd still entered the glass cage if I didn' knwo one of us was gonna die. But still, if you get in a cage full of broken glass the glass won' be able to kill you just cut you.
For the first trap the group of people had with the keys in the glass boxes with a fifteen minute timer, couldn't they have just had one person get free then smash everyone else's boxes and free them too?
couldnt they have just stayed in the glass on the ceilinug + tubes in the wall to get away from the blast room and waited? like, that room already exploded, nothing forced them to continue into the electricity bathtub room?
Another thing they all could of done before entering the next chamber, is to drag the previous dead body. They should know to do this, since the test before seemed to indicate "one of them had to die" so bringing in a dead body from the previous chamber would of also helped them in the puzzles.
The water cube sits on the detectives shoulders so he can’t reach the water pipes. If you actually look at the movie more than once or look at the behind the scenes you’ll see this if I remember correctly.
The biggest mistake the Saw-series made was hiring two actors (Strahm and Hoffmann) that could be cousins. It is so effin confusing to keep track of who's who
15:50. Assuming the wire was weak enough I would have just cut it sense there’s literally a giant razor blade right next to you, then simply walked up and taken the collar off.
For the head-in-a-box-of-water trap, there was a bit of water leaking down his neck. Maybe he could have used his hands or the pen to move his neck around to let more water out, just emptying the container.

I mean there was still another one which I see me and other commentors thought of.
i like saw 1&2 for being good, i like saw 5 for the cheese
the 5 person game was among one of the easiest to beat and survive
you forgot to mention that in the first room, the leather straps around their necks could have easily been cut through by the huge razor blades on the wall
for the nail bombs, just rip off the cables and it wont explode
Saw is my all-time favorite franchise. I have probably rewatched every movie at least twice ( including x )
And I love the "pints of sacrifice " trap...so bloody...
32:00
What amazing fortune! You can see that the next trap requires more blood than you can comfortably give, alone, but the doors haven't closed and the countdown hasn't started...
Go back and collect a corpse or two...
Terrific video 😊
Thanks How to Beat for this video , Now Have A Damn Good Day!
Thank you.
I stopped at this one yet scanned the others after with channels like this. So I didn't need to rent those actually. Thanks. LoL. 🎉
yeah I'm gonna search Ashley body too
oh my god finally someone agrees that stream and Hoffman look nearly the same, I had SO MUCH trouble diffrenciating who is doing what
Coming back to the series after 1 year🎉
I don't get why people choose the slowest and most agonising torture. Like I know if I got kidnapped by jigsaw I would die either way so
Why couldn’t he just pee into the breaker in the last trap
Before this I got a tablesaw and handsaw ad lol
27:46 from what i saw the door to the last chamber was also open. So they could of went through and grabbed one of the dead bodies and used those instead of sacrificing someone from the survivors. One of the dead bodies should of been just enough to get the door open.
Great video
8:29 A square TV. They used to be the only TVs. Now it's so WEIRD to see them, like not 'unexpected' weird, but WRONG weird.
Bro people normally say you brought a knife to a gun fight but bro brought a gun to a fistfight and still lost
6:55 love the R6 Siege reference
Frfr
Happy New Year How To Beat!
Have a damn good years my fella!!!
urine is a conductive fluid. Jigsaw not accounting for this or hoping squeemishness will cause people to literally die before they pee on the floor or in a jar in front of someone is not Jigsaw's style of rational. It really shows the quality of the franchise dropping.
Have a damn good day! And a happy new year!
damn didnt know luke danes had a secret agent life. glad he survived that first trap
Hoffman has got to be my fav jigsaw accomplice, he’s so fun 😁✌🏻
And I share a first name with a different accomplice, but I still pick Hoffman over them every time
28:00 I KNEW IT. IT's the way this is one of the only videos where I've guessed this many right. Well not necessarily guessed but yeah.
I just want to know what store jigsaw goes to.
Yeah id like some guillotine blades,4 ropes,4 sets of hand coves and a small glas box please
For the first trap the group of people had with the keys in the glass boxes with a fifteen minute timer, couldn't they have just had one person get free then smash everyone else's boxes and free them too?
It looks Peter strahm's luck run out. I am enjoyed the video. Good work on the video.
Actually its one of my favorite. I liked the plot twist and how pure saw gane without all those distractions
16:00 whats stopping the first (and second ect) free person from smashing the rest of the glass and simply freeing the rest of the group?
Merry new year
21:53 OMGGG, I thinking exactly this. If only they'd not fought and tried to work together...
i love how you mentioned rainbow six siege!!
Have a damn good new years! ❤
I usually see people say Saw 3D is the worst, but I guess it's a toss up
couldnt they have just stayed in the glass on the ceilinug + tubes in the wall to get away from the blast room and waited?
like, that room already exploded, nothing forced them to continue into the electricity bathtub room?
Bruh the only trap I like is the suck out eye trap
Very true in that last part the two actors look the same.
Have a damn GREAT day!!!!!
This movie is basically 'when the quiet kid have had enough'
34:50 LETSS GOOOO. I KNEW IT. THIS IS THE FIRST VIDEO WHERE I GOT EVERYTHING RIGHT. IT WAS A SAW TRAP TOO.
Have a damn good day!
How to beat Cujo
How to beat Chucky in Child's Play and Child's Play 2
How to beat Night of the Living Dead 1990
HTB Cujo sounds good! That dog always scared the crap out of me as a kid!
The R6 reference is crazy💀
For the head-in-a-box-of-water trap, there was a bit of water leaking down his neck. Maybe he could have used his hands or the pen to move his neck around to let more water out, just emptying the container.
