Hey, don’t forget to close up those holes you guys cut on the back of the front fenders to keep moisture out of the fenders. You want that sealed as it not to cause problems in the future

Something that you can do that’ll help a lot is take a heat gun and heat the panel up. I know it sounds odd since it’s fiberglass and not plastic but it does indeed work.
TJ, I’ve been looking at other Veilside RX-7's and it looks like the majority of them are running factory hatchback and looks really good! That’s the one I would go with.

What never ceases to amaze me about body kits is it feels like the product was made without anyone actually ever installing one. Like the amount of work that people have to do to put one on makes it feel like they looked at a picture of the car, drew up the body kit, made the part and just said "here ya go, you f#ckers deal with it"
I know you saw the comment on insta about doing crazy paint, and then wrapping it the classic orange and black. The paint should be a deep forest pearl and black down the middle. Would look amazing

When sanding and cutting that fiberglass, baby powder on your arms helps with the itching. Sounds like BS but it works. and please get some 2 part epoxy or filler and close those holes back up.
Do all the work yourself and pretend like you did it then Drop it off at S.O.S to check and fix your work and paint it! Good content watching y’all try
I think everything needs to be pushed to the left (facing the front) the side TJ did is correct but the bolts near the front are to the right so clearly the hood is the issue ATM.
Would be super sickkk if you could get the carbon headlight buckets Re-Laid in a forged Carbon Fiber! That WaterBall effect is the last thing you want! It’s even worse than a snowball effect, Because everything is Melted!!! But you’ll have that on those big jobs 🤣
Ya know TJ they actually make contact chalk that leaves a print for that purpose to see where you’re contacting, for future reference. Pretty incredible to see someone do a new Veilside install now 20yrs later, pretty sure I dreamed this lol.
The right hood hinge needs to go back towards the door and it will close the gap on the right fender to close and cause the latch and sticker to line up

The correct way is paying VeilSide to install it ;) they do in house installation their parts are supposed to fit right away
