Excellent how to! I did this to mine, and used a 2mm tip Molotow pen which was about right control for me as 1mm tip was too flexible and unruly, and (big help!) let the chrome set up for a day, then coat what you can with Intermediate GAUZY agent, a thin clear "shine enhancer" they call it, that somehow, coats and protects the chrome finish without dulling it! No idea why, but chemically, it works! You can even handle it after! Too nice work to not protect it! Great stuff so far! Really nice ideas! Bravo!
I let it set for about 5 days. You can touch it without any smudges. The only places you need to be careful with are the soft vinyl pieces like the shoulder armor
defiantly gonna need an update to see how it lasts if it rubs off or not like sharpies! but this looks amazing I'm making a trip to hobby lobby tomorrow for sure!
I did my mr freeze original toy from the 90’s with the molotow pen, left it for a few days and it still went dull once I touched it. I don’t know whether spraying a thin coat of lacquer would help preserve or react with the chrome ink

It’s supposed to be a hard finish that is scratch resistant. Only time will tell. It looks good though
Touched the finish today and no smudge, no finger prints and no dulling of the mirror
Does it have a chemical reaction with the plastic where it becomes tacky?
No. The shoulders are rubber/vinyl. It held up but I would try to rub the shoulder armor
@@CagedSUPERMAN sweet thanks for the response I was thinking about do the same thing when I get mine

I don’t think you’re supposed to spray anything over it. I’ll look into it. Thanks
I’m also going to let it cure for a week
@@CagedSUPERMAN be good to see if a week helps
@@mdawson5581touched it today and it’s all good
@@CagedSUPERMAN that’s good. I’ll give mine a second coat and leave for a week as well
