Hi Emma I would like to ask a basic grammar question. It is sometimes difficult for me to choose the right auxiliary verb. For example: Did you clean your car? or Have you cleaned your car? or Did you eat the pizza that I cooked? or Have you eaten the pizza that I cooked? Hi Patrick! There's no real difference in terms of the meaning. The person you're asking would understand both equally. Do you mind... verb -ing Would you mind... verb -ing Do you mind if...+ subject + verb Would you mind if.. + subject + verb
