It'd be nice to see HGTV build a Railroad Park,like the one in Rochelle Illinois.The railroad tracks is why i moved to Carleton,and it's a quiet town,and low taxes.
I'm curious on why you didn't show the rest of town? Such as any of the three gas stations, KAS Market, the dollar stores, China club, Wolf's den, the hardware store, or even the other end of town with the daycare and the fire station.
The point of the video was to show the areas that had the most potential. Things like Dollar stores and other commercial locations that aren't privately owned don't really have a say in whether or not HGTV is going to make changes to them. There are corporate standards (still specifically referring to the dollar stores) - i.e.: we cant change the way dollar general wants their stores to look.

I think you're supposed to title it "Hometown Takeover" not Makeover. The other towns have done this. I just hate to see this video overlooked or disqualified because of that.
