Man, Evil has been on my wishlist for awhile now. This last week I've decided to get something with a little more umph than my Scott Genius and started looking at enduro bikes. but I am really feeling the quick and zippy feeling of the full 27.5 set up. I know you're running mullet here, but do you have any thoughts on what I'm looking for? If I go full 27.5, is it adjustable to try it as mullet or are they 2 separate frames? seems like the internet is trying to talk me out of Evil but I don't want to believe that one person's cracked wreckoning frame would mean that this one would too, or that I would actually feel what someone means when they say that the first gen insurgent didn't have the best suspension under braking. Someone also said it ate linkage bearings for breakfast. Have you had or heard any of these issues? oh, never mind on the bearings, you addressed that one. I just really want this one to be the bike for me :D I've tried the mullet on my scott but it felt like I was being pushed too far forward over the bike. I suppose I wouldn't be completely apposed to the MX if it didn't have that feeling, but I'd rather run even wheels. GD what a difficult decision it is!

Awesome video. I wanted to get the new Wreckoning LS but went with a Santa Cruz Nomad V6 because I am the type of guy who wants to sit on a bike before I buy it and I couldn’t find any local shops here in Utah that had Wreckonings. I don’t really think my Nomad is the best bike for me so now I’m looking back at the Wreckoning and Insurgent. If you don’t mind me asking…you are someone who has spent a good amount of time on both of them. What do you feel the biggest differences are between the Wreckoning and the Insurgent? Pros & cons

Cheers, yes lots of time on both bikes, plenty of racing, trail riding, bike parks and holidays. They're both great bikes for sure with a similar character. Really if you ride hard like to rip turns and ride steep stuff quite a bit the Insurgent is the winner. Can't go wrong with either tbf.
